Premier Portrait 3:15 Warwick nicely weighted with Townend up for Kim Bailey 12-1 looks very nice. Very interested to see how Townend gets on today can see him getting a few winners.
Also gone for Ballyboley 20-1 in the big one at Newbury has some nice form with Daryl Jacob on fire at the moment and Twiston Davies winning this race last year could be worth a small squeak.

Coneygree at 7/2 for me money back if second with Boyles. Think it's a weak enough race would be surprised if he's out of the 2

Swing Bowler at 33s in the Betfair.

Mr Mole to run SDG close.

5 45 storm runner 12/1 2 pts win think this is well in of a mark of 59. Showed enough in its last run when not supported in the betting to think tthere is more to come.

Have also followed aidan on 2 I was considering anyway.
    3 50 ackertac 7/1 2 pts win
3.35 Wiclow brave 33/1 2 pts ew. Think there could still be some value in the 20s still available

Agree with you on storm runner that last run was definitely encouraging.

baily cloud e/w @3/1 in the first at naas
Viconte du Noyer e/w @ 13/2in the 340 at Naas, he jumps well and finished just behind blood cotil in his first chase, at double the price he'll do for me

Might do an e/w lucky 15 with lucky brave and ackertac, can put the feet up for the weekend when they all hack up!

Anyone watching the 1:25 at Naas?

Another shocker from Dessie yet again. Called Baily Cloud by a different name throughout the entire race!

Hilarious , he's losing it. On a more serious note I wouldn't be surprised if Brian Cooper broke his collarbone there- nightmare at this time of year.

    Coneygree has been absolutely lumped.

That Vibrato Valtat could give UDS plenty to think about in the Arkle. Wouldn't mind if Paddy Power used that race for their money back special.

Picansort (20/1) in the 2-35 is a pound below its last winning mark and has the visor back on today

Coneygree great run there. Jumped every fence very well.

NRNB for the Gold Cup a far better bet than Antepost for the RSA

If he goes for the RSA, he'll be closer to a 5/2 shot or even shorter on the day. I'd be tempted to have a little bet on him now at 5/1 ante post.

Definitely a physical issue with SDG. For a jockey who spends every hour of day with the horse, think Moore could have minded him more

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 19,351 ✭✭✭✭Harry Angstrom

    McCoy retiring

Yes at the end of the season

Rishi showed himself up there, long long pause, waiting for someone to tell him through the earpiece who Mc Coy is

Am I wrong in picking a novice after first run to win gold cup based on what I saw.loads of posters continuously had a go at me for picking such a raw horse but maybe I saw something that posters did not but some posters will never see promising young horses and never will.

Any word on Bryan Cooper's injury?

He seems to have ridden for the rest of the afternoon so must have escaped uninjured.

No doubt you are talking about me, I said he is not the best novice this year, UDS is and today didn't change that. I also said he did not win the Feltham hard held like you said he did. Not sure this counts as "having a go".

He is a very good horse and enhanced his reputation today and he should go for the Gold Cup, I backed him at 28/1 for the race before he ran today.
