Repeating first year- what's it like?

Hi everyone! Unfortunately, I started college at the beginning of this year, and I'm really not enjoying my course. I think I'd like to re-apply through the CAO to do Psychology- does anyone have any advice in terms of making a decision like this? Is repeating first year a bit of a chore? Should I just keep trucking on?…
