    hey folks
I'm not sure if this is the right forum ,but can anyone point me in the right direction,
My other half is having problems sleeping, it's been like this for over a year now but it has recently started to affect her health, low blood pressure and exhaustion
,Her doctor hasn't been very helpful he just say's try sleep more which is the problem in the first place and she's a bit to easy going to push him on the matter ,
Does anyone know any where in Dublin that could help with sleep issues ?

    Thanks

There are some basic things you can try first before seeking outside help, hopefully one you might not have tried yet:

Stress and worry - Leads to sleeplessness and trouble 'turning off'.

Stimulus - (careful now) Any TV/radio/Xbox on in the room? Lights? Noises? Could you put your phones in another room possibly?

Light - Black out the room may help when people are light sensitive.

    And a massive one,

Diet - The cornerstone to most health and fitness problems. Can it improve?

What age is she? If 30 plus it might be a good idea to get her thyroid checked out. My sleeping was diabolical pre-diagnosis/thyroid replacement hormone.

She actually does all of the above and her diet is very very good as she big into fitness ,except for maybe chocolate now and again ,
It's just starting to be a worry as its getting worse rather than better,
    Thanks for the response,
