    She's popular because some of the offers she throws about on her vlogs. And her offers would be to celebreties.
    As this planet is obsessed with celebreties, then a pron actress making promises to a celebrety is going to get them noticed.

    So, fairly clever really in how she is getting free advertisement to increase her hits.

    I think I read the same piece as the OP and I was equally baffled as to who she was, I'd never heard the name before.

    A quick search of her videos and one of the top results was a mother/daughter Muslim spin. If that's a big part of her work, then I'd imagine she's massive in Muslim porn-watching circles for the sheer taboo of it.
