Any thoughts on which is better? Ariston is about 650 quid more expensive fitted. Both have zoning, digital controls.

Ariston all the way but I don't know how or why it's 650 more. A new Ariston is around 900. I'm assuming the ideal is more than 250!

Viesmann or Worcester is the real question.

Thanks for the replies, don't know much about the subject. It's two different installers, both well known and each has their preferred brand.

Ariston one seems more high tech, can control from your smartphone. Was a bit put off by some posts about past problems with Ideal boilers but hopefully the new high efficiency ones are better made / designed.

Just want something good and reliable and easy to use and fix, high tech is a bonus but not necessarily worth paying extra 650.

2500 seems a bit high but I don't know what's involved in the job. Get a few more quotes maybe

Does that include a power flush? whats the price of the Ideal logic on its own?

Gasparts have both boilers around the 695-900 euro figure for, aristom similar if not lower 699-775 for system boilers? which seems like very similar prices.
The ariston advert mentions + flue, dont know if this is included usually with a boiler normally or not, but Im wondering how the ariston is coming in dearer to install?

Im curios as I have considered both these for boilers (the ariston was the clas HE system boiler).

I'm still trying to think why the Ariston is €650 more.

Again as Ive an interest in either one as a replacement when you say both have zoning and digital controls OP, is this what you enquired for your set up?
Do you mean hot water and room heating zones or upstairs/downstairs zones, or that you have some or all of this and they are fitting the appropriate zone controls? which are digital? so a programmer? or the built in controls?
