May as well have a match thread for this massive deadrubber.

    Munster:
    Simon Zebo; Andrew Conway, Keith Earls, Denis Hurley, Ronan O'Mahony; Ian Keatley, Duncan Williams;
James Cronin, Duncan Casey, BJ Botha; Dave Foley, Paul O'Connell; Dave O'Callaghan, Tommy O'Donnell, Peter O'Mahony (capt).

Replacements: Eusebio Guinazu, John Ryan, Stephen Archer, Billy Holland, Robin Copeland, Ivan Dineen, JJ Hanrahan, Pat Howard.

    Sale:
    Luke McLean; Tom Brady, Andy Forsyth, Mark Jennings, Tom Arscott; Nick MacLeod, Will Cliff;
Alberto de Marchi, Tommy Taylor, Ross Harrison, Andrei Ostrikov, Josh Beaumont, Mark Easter, David Seymour (capt), Vili Fihaki.

Replacements: Cameron Neild, James Flynn, Ciaran Parker, George Nott, Andrew Hughes, Nathan Fowles, Joe Ford, Michael Haley.

You can hear Cara O'Sullivan screaming in the background. :(

It's hard to be enthused about this but with the Six Nations on the horizon there are a lot of players looking to put their hands up for selection.

What is up with the irish yogurt sponsorship???

Been impressed by ROM all season, seems fast and powerful, another good break for him. Zebo in for a try.

Competition with Bank of Ireland. Leinster did the same.

Zebo try, pretty easy. Great break on the touchline from ROM in the build up.

Great start anyway. Lovely break from o Mahoney.

Bit of fight and passion in the team hopefully today, big performances from our internationals and then no injuries.

Munster player down, can't see who it is.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 11,636 ✭✭✭✭Tox56

This is basically an exercise in sitting down and waiting to see who gets injured

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 4,902 ✭✭✭budhabob

DOCII has started well as well.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 4,902 ✭✭✭budhabob

How did TOD get that ball away?

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 45,433 ✭✭✭✭thomond2006

    Awful defence especially from keatley

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 4,902 ✭✭✭budhabob

Weak defence for that try, in particular from keatley.

  • Administrators Posts: 54,420 Admin ✭✭✭✭✭awec

    Keatley :o

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 4,271 ✭✭✭A-Train

Terrible defence there, but a well finished try.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 45,433 ✭✭✭✭thomond2006

Well Sale's seconds are interested. At 10-0 it looked ominous for them.

    Hurley burned badly too.

The replay angle from the Munster side showed that alright.

Hurley's lack of pace badly exposed there. I can't understand why he's in the team tbh. Poor from Keatley too. Cant't blame Conway Mr Commentator

shocking defending from keatley. POC is having a 'mare

    had to be a YC

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 4,902 ✭✭✭budhabob

Down to 14 with Conway gone.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 24,767 ✭✭✭✭molloyjh

    Yellow for Conway.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 4,902 ✭✭✭budhabob

Fair play to POM and TOD there to hold them out.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 4,271 ✭✭✭A-Train

Silly from Conway, Munster shooting themselves in the foot with silly pens being given away, brought Sale back into it.

    Great kick by Zebo

    Pathetic dive from Zebo

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 4,902 ✭✭✭budhabob

Jesus the sky commentators are tough listening to.

    Hurley off injured, Dineen on.

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 4,668 ✭✭✭Mahatma Geansai

Dineen on ahead of Hanrahan? Interesting.

Think I saw some tumble weed roll across the pitch.

I missed the Zebo 'dive'. Anything in it?

Such a strange decision. No wonder he wanted to leave.

He went down easy. There was some slight contact. Didn't see the huget incident so can't compare.

I missed the Zebo 'dive'. Anything in it?

chip over the top, minimal contact and fell to the ground Huget style, even though Munster had a penalty advantage anyway

Sky being biased that's all you missed.

Sale player stuck his hip out and knocked Zebo over. Sky call him a cheat.

Dineen might not be here next season either so I'm surprised that JJ isn't used.

Ah ffs keatley. Just not good enough

He was barely touched if he was touched at all, and he milked it for all it was worth.

Keatley with an atrocious kick to the corner.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 24,767 ✭✭✭✭molloyjh

    Ah Keatley....

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 45,433 ✭✭✭✭thomond2006

Ah Keatley you're blowing a chance to start for Ireland after Madigan's missed kicks yesterday.

Zebo milked it to embarrassing proportions

Chipped ahead, ran into a Sale player and collapsed theatrically.
Such a strange decision. No wonder he wanted to leave.

Smacks of vindictiveness if I'm honest. Keatley having a 'mare too. I reckon Hanrahan would be a better option today than all of Keatley, Hurley, Dineen for sure, yet Foley looks to all three first.

Great break from ROM, and a decent offload from Paulie, shame it didn't stick.
