Disposing of an old couch

I have an old couch that I need to get rid of. I know some charities will collect donated furniture, but unfortunately it's damaged and would be no use to them. I don't have access to a van, so I was wondering if anyone knows of anyone locally who'll collect and dispose of broken furniture?

You could post it on Free Trade Ireland with photos and an accurate description. If it is in any way usable then someone will want it. Of course, they may not have a van either.

If it is totally useless, could you saw it to bits that would be easier to move?

I've broken up old sofas before and brought the bits I couldnt use on the open fire to Coolmine bring centre

Thanks for the suggestions guys. Breaking it up was my last resort if I couldn't get rid of it, but someone suggested putting it on Donedeal as a freebie. I did, and half an hour later I had a taker.
