When I read about this the other day, I did wonder what was going on. From the sketchy details it was inferred they were trying to film some kind of stunt. Obviously didnt think through what he was going to do if he couldn't outrun the train. Such a waste of a life, and yeah, the train driver will be haunted till the end of his days by that.

As a train driver myself can only say what a clown but unfortunately there's a lot of pranks and dare devil stuff going on all the time.

I'm pretty surprised he died in such a fashion; always seemed like a pretty intelligent guy. If you went to West Point and served as a Ranger you've got to be somewhat intelligent I'd wager. Just a freak accident.

RIP. He seemed like a good guy and had an amazing physique.

maybe they didn't know what he was up too or what was involved.
He probably did so many media stuff that his friends thought nothing of it.

If my mate (who is an actor) said he was outrunning a train , I'd just assume it was a stunt. I'm guessing they probably thought the same thing.
