Just a quick question, I had some lamb nice defrosted for dinner last night but ended up eating out. The package says to eat within 24 hours when defrosted, I'm wondering would it make me ill to cook it tonight for dinner? 48 hours later. Thanks!

My personal opinion is - if it's not showing signs of being off, it's fine.

I take a lot of those 'warning messages' with a pinch of salt (no pun intended)
