    Hi,

I go to the gym 5 days a week, and i consume 4 scoops of protein a day:

07:30 - 1 scoop of protein powder before work
    07:45 mixed nuts with porridge
10:00 - 1 slice of brown bread and peanut butter
    13:00 - tuna salad
17:00 - 2 scoops of protein powder (with milk, banana, honey & spinach) before the gym
    17:30 - gym
19:00 - 1 scoop of protein powder after the gym
19:30 - chicken or beef or fish with rice and veg

I'm 6ft and 13 st 7 lbs. Is that too much protein?

I also have various other protein sources throughout the day, typically:

    07:45 mixed nuts with porridge
10:00 - 1 slice of brown bread and peanut butter
    13:00 - tuna salad
19:30 - chicken or beef or fish with rice and veg

    5 scoops is about 100-105g.
The only other protein sourced he note are the tuna and meat/fish.

    Wouldn't think it's particularly excessive.

I would regularly hit 200g of protein a day.
5 scoops does seem an excessive use of a supplement

    This.

Nothing wrong with a supplement but just seems like it's making too high a percentage of the daily protein intake.

Is the food listed all the food in a day, OP?

    Thanks guys.

Sorry not sure where the 5 scoops is coming from, it's 4 scoops :-)

    07:30 - 1 scoop before work
    17:00 - 2 scoops before the gym
    17:30 - gym
    19:00 - 1 scoop after the gym

Yes, this is basically all the food i take in for the day, with a few small snacks in between, usually a hand full of blueberries or other portions of fruit.

It's not a lot of food at all. Your diet is being propped up by shakes.

Are the shakes made with milk?

I put different things in the main shake:

07:30 - 1 scoop before work (water & protein powder)
17:00 - 2 scoops before the gym (water, milk, banana, spinach, honey & protein powder)
19:00 - 1 scoop after the gym (water & protein powder)

Depending on portion sizes you dont have enough protein. You should be consuming ~200g if you are training
