I work away from home a lot and frequently hotel wifi is a ripoff. I want to get an unlocked Mifi unit and just buy sim cards to avail myself of various data deals or local carriers if abroad. Because I frequently use a tablet instead of a laptop I want a Mifi that can take an SD card and wirelessly stream data from that (films & recorded Tv mainly) Not every Mifi can do that, some have to be wired and just act as an external hd. Can anyone recommend a device or selection of them, I've tried google but cant find any definitive Mifi guide.
