    Stretched my leg tonight out too far tonight going for a tackle, its on the inside of my upper leg would this be my groin i pulled ? is there anything i can do to make it go away faster ?? im currently taking nurofen and applying deep heat cream to it ?

    I am open to correction but i think your pretty much doing all you can do. If theres any swelling in the area then cold not heat should be applied otherwise i think heat is fine although some people recommend to alternate between the two but i really do not think it makes a massive difference especially if there is no swelling! Sounds like your groin but again. I am open to correction.

    Best advice to give you at this time is to keep doing what your doing and rest that leg! Maybe see a physiotherapist if you feel the need after a few days.

    Plenty of rest. It's one of those injuries you think is fine to go back playing on and then it goes again so before you go back into a match, make sure it's ready for the twisting and turning and changing of directions at fast pace etc. Running in straight lines is no guide.

    But for now, you're doing what you can.

    I'd take six weeks off for it to heal.
