I've read through a few threads but they're quite old at this stage and didn't want to drag them back up.

I'm looking to join St. John's/Order of Malta/Red Cross in the Dublin 15 area and was just curious if anyone here could recommend any in particular?

I'm in my thirties at this point so would prefer a slightly older group but any recommendations or information would be welcome.

Here's the map for OMAC with contact numbers on it aswell.

I'd recommend trying different orgs and even different units in the orgs to try figure which would be the best fit for you before committing. No problem popping to most units meetings for a week or two to figure it all out and decide then

Bit of an old thread but I the OMAC units in Dublin 15 are in very bad shape, poorly run and have vehicles that are very very old by voluntary standards (bar a 4x4).

Red Cross never seem to be active in the area so I would personally opt for SJA.

Used to be in one of the Dub 15 OMAC units and am not now for the reasons above.

SJA just had a membership meeting 2 weeks ago at their head quarters in Leeson street. I think the next one is this month.
But you've to do training for 2 full days at the HQ, and then assigned to your local or suited division.
Contact them or send a FB message to the SJA Ireland page. They will let you know about the next meeting (:
