Are there any 24 hour gyms in Dublin? Can't find one online but seem to remember hearing of one at some stage.

No showers would be a deal breaker. Would have to clarify that before for certain.

Consider the deal broken so. Unless there's a shower in the disable bathroom - they'r the ones they leave open.

Thanks. People using 24 hour gyms are quite often people with obscure or anti-social working hours who may not necessarily have the time to go home and shower before heading off to work etc. Personally, if I am paying for a gym, I expect shower facilities.

If they kept the showers open there'd be liability concerns, which would require staff to be on hand at all times, which would lead to increased prices, which you would probably complain about.

If you're paying for a 24-hour gym because you work obscure/anti-social hours, then you're paying for the use of a gym at obscure/anti-social hours.

Sometimes you have to take the rough with the smooth.

I am a member of FLYE FIT Baggot street and it is open 24/7 365 days a year.

Personally I would prefer to go to a gym that I was not able to use the shower facilities than not go at all, you have to take into account the hours you wish to go. It is reasonably priced at 29 EUR a month.

I have no idea re the showers after midnight by the way. Might be worth giving them a call and finding out before making any decisions.

I was just stating that I would prefer showering facilities. My personal preference. Of course, odd gym hours means you have less staff available. There are different insurance concerns for the gym owner. Doesn't necessarily mean every 24 hour gym would't have shower availability (even cold ones) Saying that I would complain about the increased price of having staff there is an assumption you have made.

I'd hope even the most ardent gym fan would take it easy on Christmas. :)

Training on xmas day is the most hipster thing I've ever heard of.

I shoved my arms up two 10lbs turkey arses and did 100 curls before dinner.

Is that where you go after training Christmas day in Raw?

I wasn't in Raw on Christmas Day.

But if I was, I'd have brought my skinny jeans with me for after.

Flyfit Macken Street is open 24 hours. They close the changing rooms at 11pm during the week. They've a couple of disabled toilets that are always open which have showers in them though!
