Help with rowing machine purchase

I'm in the market for a new rowing machine and have been offered two pretty attractive deals

    A concept 2 d with a pm5 computer for €1020

Or a waterrower natural for 1100

Both prices are new delivered to Dublin and available within a week.

I'm slightly struggling for two reasons

Yes the concept historically has been the rower of choice it's larger louder and harder to store and move

I also hear the movement on the waterrower is better

Customer service for both is apparently superb

So while head says concept the appeal of the waterrower at this price is hard to ignore. Any help or steer greatly appreciated.

In terms of me I'm still a relative beginner I exercise twice a week but am buying this due to heavy workload and the inability to get to the gym when I get home in the evening.

Unless you row competitively think twice about dropping a grand on one, I bought one a few years ago there is not 30km on it.
Do yourself a favour and rent one for a month see how you get on with it and then purchase if you are getting value.

Water rower looks cool that's for sure. And well viewed. But you won't find them in any rowing club gym anywhere.

I boughta C2 myself few weeks back and 1020 delivered is a very good deal.

The C2's most bestest feature for me is resale value. It won't lose much even after a few years if well maintained and shiny.

Not sure if same goes for WR. And it's going to be a niche product in an already niche market.

The WaterRower hasn't really done much for Frank Underwood inallinanywayas.

thanks guys for his i actually went ahead with the rower it's worked out great i'm doing 5k per day and having seen the space its taking up the c2 would been a stretch.

will keep updated after 3 month to see if the enthusiasm wanes but so far so good!

You went with Water Rower? It's not clear from your post.
