    There's no time limit on when people can add their name :) It's not an official competition as such. It's more a method to compare yourself to other boards.ie users and as a motivational tool for yourself in achieving your handicap goals.

    It's nice to measure yourself against your peers. In this case, your peers are your fellow boards.ie users :)

    i.e. yourself and Jimmy are both playing off 15 handicap. He gets cut to 14, posts it on here, bragging about how awesome he is and you're like, well screw you jimmy, I'm going to get ahead of you! ;)



    The stats I posted in the original post were again, just for motivation and for users this season to see if they can emulate the users of last season :)

    You might think its ambitious but changed pro's at end of year and he reckons he'll easily have me of 12 by the end of August as I have a very good swing, so here's hoping as I know its in me!

    Some really ambitious targets being given which is brilliant to see!

    It's not that ambitious Benny. Shane007 went from 19 - 10 - so a 9 shot drop is definitely on the cards if you're swinging it well! :D

    Ben and shauna to get good encouragement from what galwaylad and Seorg achieved last year as well :D

    Well I keep been told I have a swing of a single figure player and my game faults must be more mental (which I agree) so Im going to give it hell this season have the books and cds for the mental side! So to 2015 lets have yea...:)

    P.s Seeing me second last in the table is depressing!
