    Captain Andy Carroll

Start the year off with a differential

Will bring in Sterling for Yaya

Kane, siggy, mata, eriksen. Three from four. Drop who?

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 1,654 ✭✭✭greedygoblin

Going with Silva (C), Costa (VC). Not prepared to risk Austin again. Once bitten twice shy.

It's got to be one of Eriksen or Kane for me I think. Probably Kane.

Went for Sterling last night and now I've a serious urge to captain him.

    Green,
    Zab, Terry, Hutton
    Hazard, Sanchez, Silva, Sterling, Downing
    Costa, Austin

Had a dream last night that Chelsea lost 4-0 to Letterkenny Rovers, whatever that means.

    Heaton
    Zab Clark Terry
    Siggy Hazard Yaya(C) Sanchez Downing(VC)
    Benteke Austin

    Mannone Bony Clyne Moore

Not thrilled about benching Bony or not having any playing defenders if Zab and/or Clark miss out. Silva one point cameo too much to ask for??

    Fabianski

    Cissokho Dummett Chambers

    Yaya (c) Hazard Sterling Lampard

    Carroll Costa Van Persie

    Going with:
    Heaton
    Azpilicueta, Zabaleta, Baines
    Siggy, Silva, Sanchez, Downing, Fabregas
    Austin (c), Costa

    Subs: Hutton, Kane, N.Taylor

I have a feeling I should start Hutton but don't know who to drop.

Got a big selection dilemma in attack.

Sanchez (sou) Yaya (SUN) Silva (SUN) Hazard (tot) Downing (WBA)
Carroll (WBA) Austin (SWA) Benteke (CRY)

Can't really drop Yaya or Silva home to Sunderland. Which of the remaining players should I drop to the bench? Can anyone help me out?

    I'd bench Downing.

    Hart
    Dummett Terry Hutton
    Silva Hazard Sanchez Eriksen
    Bony Costa Austin
    Subs: Elliott, Naylor, Wisdom, Marney.

Not expecting many points today. Went Yaya to Silva to catch the price rise so Yaya will probably grab a hat trick now. I'm beyond giving a fook though.

Bony will go next transfer so Kane, Benteke, Jovetic and Carroll get another audition day today.

    De Gea
    Hutton Azpi Zab
    Downing Silva(C) Yaya(VC) Haz Cazorla
    Costa Austin
    Subs Kane Moore Wisdom

Transfer banked but was tempted by Kane to Ayoze.

Gonna bank the transfer for the first time in a while,

    Hutton azpi cresswell

    Austin Costa benteke

    Jakupovic, Naylor, cattermole, moore

    DDG
    Zab Jenkinson Debuchy
    Sterling(c) Hazard Silva Sanchez
    Kane Costa Bony

Was tempted to ditch Bony but decided to give him one more week.

I'd go Zab, Azp, and Ciissokho

Burnely have been finding the odd goal or two lately and Newcastle dont have a manager would sway me to pick a villa def.

    Similar defender question from me

Bertrand (ARS), Azpili (tot), Dummett (BUR), Cresswell (WBA), Wisdom (whu)

Currently have the 3 home players in, but very undecided. Any thoughts out there please ? :)

I would expect Arsenal to score. Southampton without Schneiderlin and Clyne.
Close enough call but I would go with your big hitter defender Azp.

Newcastle Burnley says to me a 0-0 draw, though I'm struggling to put Heaton or Dummett into my team as I think I have better options.

    Fab
    Hutton Terry Zab
    Haz Silva Sanchez Eriksen
    Costa Austin (c) Bony

    Heaton Dummett Boyd Wasil

I don't know what you mean. They all have good enough fixtures this week so I'd be happy enough with that forward line.

    So tired.

Bony out (I think there is a chance he'll have limited game time today).

    Carroll in.

I know people say Falcao was brutal vs Spurs (I haven't had time to watch the highlights yet) but I'm keeping him in mind for the next GW.

He was showing signs against Newcastle that he'll get goals. I'd say the games are just coming too quick for him at the minute.

So.... that was an intense tinkering hour on New Year's Day. Just up and I'm drained :o :pac:.

Eventually got Sterling in for Eriksen (eyeing a Sakho to Kane move next week or the week after next) and changed captaincy from Austin to Silva at 11:30.

    I line-up as this
    Hart
    Zab Terry Yun
Sanchez Hazard Silva (C) Sterling Siggy
    Costa Austin (VC)
Elliott ; D. Sakho, Wisdom, Naylor

I know Yun is suspended but he was mainly brought in my team for his nice GWs19-20 home fixtures so I gave him a symbolic start :D.

HAPPY NEW YEAR to all and may it bring a great GW and 2015 FPL season to you (*).

(*) FHFC... Not that I wish you harm but I'm happy to give you 100 pts as long as I'll get 101 :D :pac:.

He was fine in first half and Utd were very good for 60mins but Falcao did drop off considerably in 2nd half.
Curious to see how he goes today!

What's the story with Huth at Stoke? Is he totally out of favour?

Could be one to keep an eye on for a January move. Pulis might pick him up at WBA or Harry at QPR.

Forgot to change my team this week and after the last GW disaster, I'm happy enough. Last week I took a minus 4 to get in Benteke for Ayoze Perez and it cost me in my head to head. The less minus 4s the better. At least I'll have 2 free transfers next GW. :)

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 15,264 ✭✭✭✭manual_man

    Guzan
    Zab Terry Isla
    Sterling Silva Sanchez Hazard
    Costa Austin(C) Benteke

    Happy new year all

If 1st sub Siggy burns me again I'm retiring

Main Rival has brought in Cissokho and Jovetic, so my idea of the jovetic differential is gone :(
