Hi Folks, Just wondering if anyone knows of Carers for 24 hour cover in a home that charge less than 2K a week?!!
My Dad is 94 my mother is in hospital at the minute and almost no mobility but getting a bit better . Apart from sending them into a home, the only other option we seem to have is some hours from the HSE, the rest will have to be private. Its extortion though. I'm sure the workers get little more than minimum wage while the agency get money for old rope!
Is there another option? Does anyone have more experiences on this matter, thanks a lot
