I'm thinking of joining Ben Dunne in Cherrywood - does anybody know if you can also use other BD gyms under the same membership or is your membership specific to one location only? Thanks!

Specific to the branch you join. You can pay 40 euro to change branches ( useful to people who move offices / houses)
