Possibly the same lineup as the Newcastle game.

Always confident against Spurs at WHL,haven't lost down there since 2001 and don't expect that record to change tomorrow.

    2-1 Utd.

  • I would go with what John has, 2-1.

    Too early for booze?

Harry Kane to be talked about in the same terms as Pele.

That was just a minor blip. I expect us tomorrow to continue on our way to another 6 wins on the bounce.

Bit nervy about this one, might be a draw.

Spurs away is a tricky game.

United haven't beat Spurs since the 4th March 2012. Since then two losses and two draws. Though Spurs won those two games at Old Trafford.

    Hope united thrash them.

Been a while, owe Spurs a beating. The usual 4-0 prediction should mask my general uncertainty about the game I suppose

    4-0 United.

Bad feeling about this one as a Utd fan.

    Of course not, it's Christmas.

Strange positioning for Rooney. I can only imaging he will push up later if need be.
Nice to see McNair getting a start again.
Very versatile selection actually as Carrick, Jones and Rooney can play multiple positions which gives LVG lots of options later in the game.
Looking forward to seeing Young palying again. I had a very low opinion of him until recently but the last few games he has impressed (me at least).

Not looking forward to United playing 352 v a high pressing team.

I expect United to lose possession in their own half repeatedly

    3-0 United :P

    Yeah not that confident.

    5-1 United

Would have to fancy united looking at the team sheets there, spurs midfield looks so weak.

At least we have Shaw back on the bench.

Bang on with the predicted lineup in my op-the first time this season we've had the same starting XI for consecutive games.

Easy Man utd win unfortunetly. Spurs's luck will run out & there team looks poor.

Unbelievable that we've not picked up an injury in the last 44 or so hours.

Spurs lineup is interesting, Chiriches instead of walker is either a great move by Poch or will be a disaster. Can see Young getting some free space on the left to get a lot of ball. Should be a good game this.

Which has been such an issue all season due to the injury madhouse called carrington. Its nice to see the same two CBS line up together for once.

Spurs are the kind of team United struggle against, if they are to win it could well be something like the game against Southampton. De Gea will be busy...

No rotation from United is a bit strange..

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 2,369 ✭✭✭LostBoy101

This will be a difficult game for United as we always seem to find it tough at Hart Lane. Although our away form has been good under LVG so far this season so we should come out on top!

First time in over 2 years apparently (Nov 2012). I'm guessing Shaw, Smalling and Rafael are still not fully fit for Young, McNair and Valencia to still be ahead of them (and for two games in a row) and otherwise Fletcher, Pereira and Wilson don't exactly inspire a world of confidence at this point in time.

Hardly broke a sweat against Newcastle to be fair.

Ideally both teams to lose this. Otherwise a draw

First time in two years the team is unchanged, come on United.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 8,868 ✭✭✭Andersonisgod

I can't get over how woefully poor that Spurs lineup is. Crazy how far backwards they've gone in a relatively short amount of time.

    Ref giving us nothing.

Vertonghen must have taken up rugby over the Christmas.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 8,058 ✭✭✭Unearthly

What is going on with the ref?

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 18,286 ✭✭✭✭RobbingBandit

Falcao goes down like The Rock, he sold that rake to the face.

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 4,751 ✭✭✭newballsplease

LVG never gets off the bench does he? If SAF was there he would be roaring at the ref at this stage. 3/4 decisions not given to Utd.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 17,190 ✭✭✭✭IvySlayer

    Should've scored Falcao

  • Nooooo!!!
