    Earlier on on the luas an old couple (50s) drunk (she coughed in my face twice) whispering about what they were going to do to each other when they got to the train station, and by whisper, I mean not quietly at all.

    Not sure. Few things occuring. That there's no one size fits all answer. One thing I think important is identifying if there's a reason behind the shyness that needs healed from. Management strategies can be useful, but think that it's helpful to try to understand it in order to heal from it.
