For those questioning the jersey - presumably it's a decent hand-embroidered NFL jersey (not screen printed). Can be costly, but they do last a long time unlike some of the football jerseys.

They go higher if you want the ones the players wear. Extra to get a players names etc stitched in the jersey.

They have always been high in price

Yes it is, but an NHL jersey. I have some 20 years old and they still look new compared the man u/ Liverpool etc jerseys they well fade over time

You could have probably got at least 25 jersey bull calves for €250.
But I have to say that was a generous present.

I got some clothes. Nowhere close to the above figure.

Is this a NFL, NHL or baseball jersey? Some of those are crazy prices altogether.

I got €50 in a card from the folks. The other half is broke so he made me a scrapbook of all sentimental stuff. Bit soppy, but I loved it.

    Oh and Santa slippers.

    That's crazy money!

People always seem to get loads at Christmas compared to me! I got:
An SOS Talisman (EpiAlert) bracelet from Santa
    A book from my mum
Make up from one brother and
A graphic novel from the other.

OH and I are swapping gifts on NYE but we set a budget so I know that I won't be getting anything big from him. It's not that I mind because I love what I have gotten, I just think it's crazy how much some people do get!

    From my nan and grand-uncle:
€200, pringles, after eights, milk tray, big toblerone, hot water bottle and a newbridge silverwear tree ornament from a family friend.

Parents get home in a couple of days, will exchange presents with them and my brother then.

I think it really depends on the set up of your family. My parents have always used it as an excuse to spoil us but I also have 3 siblings so there's presents from them. Were all adults so we all have our own money to spend. And then my SO who got me a new vinyl record player :)

I reckon that the fact that the last of us believing in Santa and the the recession hitting happened at pretty much the same time in our house did bring the Christmas budget way down and it was never brought back up! :-D

Cold hard cash is the best present, I stuck two fifties into both my mother and father's paws today and they both lit up when I did it, no card or any formal doing. I got my siblings headphones and PS3 games.

A probable future bill for an extension to my house as I think I'll need one to store the absolute fu¢ktonne of toys my 2 year old got. :)

Those types of gifts are priceless - other stuff is quickly forgotten.

A girl I was going out with, a few years back, carved me a little wooden sculpture of two people hugging that I still have. Very sweet.

My 7 year old sister spent all of her pocket money on the Christmas present she got me I'm told. It was the best present I got!!! A BaByliss 22piece Razor I actually can't believe it. Out of my 3 little sisters to get me such a needed and great gift I can't believe it was her... Some amazing hugs nd kisses coming her way in the morning what a sister!!!1
