Good man paulie, it's a pain in the ass to do, but you've done the schedule all season....

Have Sky really picked Panthers-Falcons over Packers-Lions?

    ****ing hell that's crazy.

I'd rather the Panthers game was the late night kickoff. That one's always been a win and you're in, lose and go home game. Steelers-Bengals is good but all it decides is who plays at home in the wildcard round.

I think it's a good choice. Only one of Atlanta and Carolina will make the playoffs so it's a huge game. Both GB and Detroit are guaranteed so slightly less at stake.

The problem is the flexing of the AFC North game... I can't imagine a single neutral wants Steelers Bengals in the prime slot.

Alex Smith out with a lacerated spleen. Chase Daniel in. Chiefs slim hopes of making the play offs just got a while lot slimmer.

As a ravens fan that's disastrous news.

Texans fan, who need the Chiefs and Browns to win. Was never likely, but with Smith out, and Shaw playing for the Browns, it will take an absolute miracle now....

Disappointed not to see the Packers-Lions on sky but I guess they've gone for the games where we'll see teams eliminated.

Yup, any hope is gone out the window to be honest. Though this is what happens when you risk depending on other teams instead of taking control of your own destiny when the opportunity presents itself.

Chase Daniel senior year at Missouri
    72.9% completion percentage
    4,335 yds
    39 TD's
    18 Int's

Goes undrafted, attends training camp with the Redskins and is cut failing to make the 53, goes to the Saints practice squad, gets promoted to 3rd stringer, wins the 2nd stringer job and moves onto the Chiefs

Blaine Gabbert junior year at Missouri (he entered the draft afterwards)
    63.4% completion percentage
    3,186 yds
    16 TD's
    9 Int's

Top 10 pick, millions in guranteed money, face of the franchise

Point of my long & boring post? Chase Daniel may well be an overlooked QB and sure he was picked by Andy Reid who knows a thing or two

My Ravens need the Chiefs to beat the Chargers, lets go Chiefs!! :D

    Boo-urns, no! I got a HOU (-6.5), ATL (-3) and SD (+2.5) treble on at 5.5/1... :o

Actually feck it, let them win by 1 or 2, but no more!

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 28,710 ✭✭✭✭Paully D

Vinateri could become the 4th player in history to have a perfect season if he doesn't miss a FG or XPA today. 28/28 on FG's and 47/47 on XPA's thus far.

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 12,395 ✭✭✭✭mikemac1

For their last three 1st quarters the Ravens offense have a total of 54 yds and 0 points

Unsurprisingly that's the worst in the league!

Sorry to point this out, but this is the last RedZone for nearly 9 months :(

Just to clarify, Ravens in if:

    Baltimore win
    And
    Kansas win?

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 12,395 ✭✭✭✭mikemac1

    Correct ^^^^^

Ravens get to the 1 yd line and come away with nothing. Same run up the middle three times and a dropped pass

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 28,710 ✭✭✭✭Paully D

Ravens inability to convert in short yardage situations is the story of our season.

Demarco murray now has the Cowboys single season rushing record.

Watt has two tackles and two sacks already against the Jags.

Jacoby Jones on punt return with the ol' vague wave to make everyone think it's a fair catch and then he takes off down the field

Officials rightly nailed him with a penalty

Ravens are 6th seeds. Chargers are out

Come on Baltimore, Chiefs are holding up their side of the bargain so far.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 10,836 ✭✭✭✭Pudsy33

    Hail to the chiefs :D

Watt has two tackles and two sacks already against the Jags.

If he doesn't walk away with the MVP this year it will be a travesty.

    Chargers TD, ****.

Even though as a Packers fan I think Rodgers should get it, I definitely wouldn't begrudge it to Watt - I mean his play has been miles and miles above anything seen from a defensive player in years if not ever.

    Come on Buccaneers

Ravens with more white line fever. Just cannot get enough td's.

I would have gone with Rodgers or Brady. But that said, I can't ignore JJ. Ridiculous how it usually always defaults to a QB or the Offensive side of the ball. Defensive football is as much of an art if not more so, than offensive football. I think if Watt doesn't get it this year, it will be yet another reason why I think the award is meaningless.

    Chargers drive:

    1st and 10 - holding
1st and 20 - run out of shotgun, never ever works, gain of 0
    2nd and 20 - sacked
3rd and 25, run out of shotgun, get 4-5 yards. Might as well have punted on 3rd.

Chiefs return punt to 5 yards line, Chargers got what they deserved. Hate those ypes of spineless calls more than maybe anything else in the NFL.

Half time in Minnesota, a thrilling 3-3 scoreline between two truly horrible teams. The bears pay calling has been as bad as I've seen it all year. Trestman has called an unbelievable number of screens, the claim that he had reduced the playbook for Clausen last week doesn't add up, unless he just removed hundreds of pages of screens. He and Cutler seem to openly hate each other by now, their body language has been like that of squabbling children. Some heart shown by the defence, but nothing like enough to save any coaches. I can't wait till this half of football is over, and the blood letting begins in Chicago. In the meantime, I'm watching this **** so you don't have to.

Ravens booed off the field at half time

This is a very ugly game :(

The Ravens have been muck the past 3 weeks. You wouldn't think their season was on the line

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 23,495 ✭✭✭✭Billy86

    The Chargers are stunningly bad.

Good Lord this Ravens offense is atrocious of late.

In other news, Justin Houston record his 21st sack of the season. 2 more to break the all-time single season record.

    Vinateri just missed a fg.
    No perfect season for him.

Doesn't look like Eddie Royal caught that.

1 more sack needed for Houston.

Edit: Might be some confusion on this one. NFL.com had him at 18 coming in to the game so he'd need 2 more if that's the case.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 28,710 ✭✭✭✭Paully D

What a series for Torrey Smith there!

Unbelievable catch on Joe Haden for 53 yards, then grabs a TD catch on the next play.

Ravens up 13-10, but bad news from elsewhere as the Chargers pull closer to the Chiefs. Getting nervous now!

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 23,495 ✭✭✭✭Billy86

That overturned TD for the Chargers is 100% dodgy, crooked nonsense.
