Sounds like a crossword. How many letters in each answer and what letters do you have already.

It looks like the Sunday Independent Final Whistle Christmas crossword but the clues, like me after a couple of drinks, got confused :).
    Anyway, the answers are
    69 across: Relish.
    64 down: Liaised.
    55 down: Agent

I'm stuck on 78 (a) Denis manned the barricades in red and green. i??i? (5)
58 (a) Sounds like this guy was destined to chase eggs. ??y, ?a??e?b? (3,8)
    Thanks.

I'm not into sport but the use of the word "evaluation" in the clue suggests to me that the second word is "test".

I know that Brian O’Driscoll’s autobiography is called "The Test".

    4d Jimmy Nicholl - Cowdenbeath manager ?

    "leakiest" would fit for 24a

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 48 sinabhfuil

    Thanks for that.

Got 'clear round' for the transparent drinks one.
That just leaves the "where best to stick close to jack" (7,5) _o_l_n_, ___e_.
