TNF looks good, MNF less so

The football gods are truly spiteful beings. Which is worse, to inflict prime time on the bears, or to inflict the bears on prime time? Just bury us early on Sunday, and let us forget the season happened...

    LOVE the TNF game.

Aaron Donald is a flat out beast.

I haven't been less excited about a 49ers game since Mike Singletary was in charge. Hopefully they don't embarass themselves too much and we can all look forward to the offseason in peace.

Injuries probably explain the anaemic pass rush. But that 9ers offense. I just can’t believe how bad it is.

Yeah, offensive line play has been poor but QB play has just been awful, no confidence in that offense right now, I'd be surprised if they win another game but you never know in the NFL I guess.

Can they not flex the MNF? Saints still in playoff frame but it's not a important game really.

How do you think a team in the hunt for a playoff place would feel about being flexed to a short week following that game?

I suppose, they can do it on Sunday with no disruption

    Week 15 already!

Honestly, it feels like a few weeks ago that I was getting ready to watch the Packers @ Seahawks opener. It's crazy how quickly the season goes.

There's a fair chance that the week 17 game at Lambeau between the Packers and Lions could result in the winner getting the number 1 seed and home advantage throughout the play offs and the loser getting the number 5 seed!

Has that happened in recent times?

GB should beat Bills and Bucs away.
Lions should beat Vikings home and Bears away.

Watching Locker tear it up for 2 quarters, then get absolutely nailed by Wilkerson or anyone really and get injured again..
clipboard jesus comes in and does well for a drive.. then the titans dont score anymore points

Its truly going to be the most awful game this season.

The most exciting part is watching how many tackles C2JK doesnt break

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 23,495 ✭✭✭✭Billy86

Rams tonight. Could go either way but a Cardinals loss would be great for GB so I'll go with the momentum team.

Im still not sure on this, leaning toward The Rams as they are at home, will be back! Not gonna stay up to watch it so I'll get a pick in for it soon anyways

You know what, screw it Im too tired to look beyond the surface on this, taking the Rams

Also, Steelers, Patriots, Giants, Colts, Chiefs, Ravens, Packers, Panthers, Bengals, Titans, Broncos, Lions, Hawks, Eagles, Saints.....yes the ****ing Saints.

Only one I actually may return to before game time is the Browns/Bengals game. They are always so annoying to pick and I have no firm feeling either way right now

Wilkerson is back from a two game break and Richardson is on fire, Locker will be running for his life!

from what ive seen of the Titans run defense this year he wont have to break many tackles:pac::pac:

And with Locker's injury history, that's not even a slight exaggeration.

This is an absolute defensive clinic from the Cardinals. Rams only 3 points so far came from good field position.

Not clear what's the extant of Stanton's injury, we'll probably know tomorrow

If he's done for the year they only have Ryan Lindley & Logan Thomas on the roster. They don't have anyone on the practice squad

Had a look to see who is out there and the main names are Josh Freeman and Seneca Wallace. Kevin Kolb & Vince Young are retired last I heard.

At least they have 10 days now to get ready for Week 16

edit: forgot the trade deadline was past!!

I was going to suggest trading for Derek Anderson but the Panthers need him. Bruce Gradowski at the Steelers is a good QB too imo

I picked the Ram to win this one.

This game ended up being a FG goal battle. Not a single TD.

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 25,953 ✭✭✭✭kryogen

Was always gonna be tight with two excellent defenses, like I said, I took the Rams purely cause they were at home with a solid D and on a short turnaround.

Not exactly surprised it went the other way though :)

would the redskins give the cards one of their qbs mid season. aparently the skins wanted a mid round pick for rg3 surly given the defense they have i would say any good qb makes them a contender.

Trade deadline passed weeks ago, the Cards are stuck with what they have or FA.

Just caught up on last night's game there. For a game without a TD it was very enjoyable, really tense and with just enough big plays to break up the constant defensive stops. Two teams who really are just a high level QB from being serious contenders. Their Ds are just excellent and they've got some really inventive and aggressive coaches. The play that really won the game for the Cardinals was when the Rams were on their goal line and they read the play action on 3rd down. I kinda figured myself the Rams might fake it but for the defence to be so ready and not let a single receiver get free was impressive. Pity that's the Rams basically done now.

I wonder is Kurt Warner keeping his phone close to him today!

Back to back wins for the Cardonals after back to back losses. Thought that wobble of the 2 losses would see their season peter out and they'd miss the playoffs.
Bruce Arians said they'll have a fair idea today how long Stanton is out for.

    Had the Rams Thursday, boo-urns.

Miami Dolphins @ New England Patriots
Green Bay Packers @ Buffalo Bills
    Cincinnati Bengals @ Cleveland Browns
Oakland Raiders @ Kansas City Chiefs
    Houston Texans @ Indianapolis Colts
    Pittsburgh Steelers @ Atlanta Falcons
Washington Redskins @ New York Giants
Tampa Bay Buccaneers @ Carolina Panthers
    Jacksonville Jaguars @ Baltimore Ravens
Denver Broncos @ San Diego Chargers
New York Jets @ Tennessee Titans
    Minnesota Vikings @ Detroit Lions
San Francisco 49ers @ Seattle Seahawks
    Dallas Cowboys @ Philadelphia Eagles
    New Orleans Saints
    @ Chicago Bears

Some complete coin flips in there, especially Titans/Jets (yick!), Bengals/Browns and Steelers/Falcons. Texans and possibly even Bills might well pull off some major upsets though... can't wait to see GB's pass protection tested against the best pass rush in the league, away from home.

EDIT: Julio Jones OUT today. Had Steelers by a hair, will be sticking with that now!

Bengals-Browns the game of the day then? :)

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 23,495 ✭✭✭✭Billy86

I reckon Steelers/Falcons has the most potential to be the best game but I'm eager to see the battle on the lines in BUF/GB and since I never get around to watching much NCAA football at all (awkward times) I'm also really intrigued to see how Manziel does, so I'll have those two on most likely.
