I'm not sure if its a spy novel or a running log but it got my vote.

Not sure I feel comfortable voting for this one. I only read one or two of these, so how can I possibly know if they are better than the others? How can any of us know? Does anybody here read every training log on boards?

Ha ha embarrassing but yes I do! I read about the sprinters and the mountain runners and the couch to 5kers and the multi marathoners and the adventure racers and the cross country guys. I wish there were some hurdlers with logs!

There's nothing to stop you reading them all - enough to know if you think they are worth voting for at least - before deciding :pac:

You can just vote for your favourite I guess, not necessarily the 'best' although your favourite will probably be the best one to you....

Is there a betting without market? If KC's log was a horse it would have been retired to stud long ago. I am not even sure there has been another winner since I have been here.

It's time to retire this stud (that's what you meant, right?). I'm getting great value out of the Continuity thread, but it's not really a training log and hasn't been about for too long, so I'd find it pretty hard to vote for it (may have entirely changed my mind by this time next year). I really enjoy several of the other training logs, for very different reasons. Some because they're very entertaining (The Bogger's Log), other's because you get to be a bystander while watching the immense progress (Dublin Runner, Jebus, Yaboya) and finally there's the very high performers like Ultrapercy and SMmoore, who manage to juggle training at a high intensity, while still enjoying a few scoops).

Completely agree about the Continuity Thread personally i don't feel it, the Novice thread or any group training threads in the logs really come under the right criteria for this award as they are training idea/ plan threads and don't really have the element that would fully reflect on a persons journey through training.

I think you are right there needs to be more of a entertainment value/personality to the threads for this award beyond just the training.
