The awkward moment you're 25, single, working in a job you didn't go to 4 years of college for..
Is it bad to have not had a proper boyfriend, a first love?
Is it bad to still be living at home at this age?

Somewhat stuck in a little rut. No self esteem to meet the opposite sex. No desire as such..though sometimes..it gets lonely! ;)

I defo need a kick up the arse. I've turned lazy and unmotivated. Don't really know where I'm going or what I'm doing with my life.
I'm pretty sure I was put here for something..but I can't seem to discover it :/

Some positives I can pick from your post OP, you are still very young, you actually have a job, and also somewhere to live where you have people (I'm presuming a bit here) who care about you.

If you want some motivation then I can recommend moving out of home for a spell and seeing how that goes.

Yeah for sure! I'm lucky in so many ways, but I don't think I'm fulfilling my potential at all.
Next year hope to move out..fingers crosses! :)

Write a list of things you'd like to do next year. Keep the list somewhere accessible that you can read it on a regular basis. You will find that the things you want to do are more focused in your head and you are more likely to start saving to move out or whatever than if you are just thinking "some day".

I made a list for 2014 and although I haven't achieved everything on the list, reading it in my notebook from time to time helped me to focus on what I want and I have done lots of things that I might not have given myself the kick up the bum to do otherwise :)

Very good advice miamee - think I'm going to do that myself :)

    Best of luck OP :)

You're not alone or unique in being stuck in rut, it happens to a lot of people and can pop up at different times in your life.
I always found it easier to work out what I didn't want, and move away from it, to bring me closer to what I did want. I was never the kind of person to know what I wanted, and ambitious people with long term plans seemed alien to me.
I've had a bit of upheaval having to leave work to care for sick & disabled relatives. But to be honest, I wanted to change careers and this gave me an opportunity. I'm not certain the change is what I want, but gonna give it a try. Now I just have to motivate myself!
