Animal crossing for the game cube

    So ! Hello there friends

I am a rather desperate momz looking for animal crossing for the game cube, does anyone anywhere know where Santa might just get this ?

I managed to get a hold of a boxed game cube with all the Jazz but games are harder to find.

Also Pokemon xd would be greatly appreciated.

Only my child would want such odd demands. At least it's not a frozen doll I don't fancy doing time, will pay and all of course :)

    Thanks !!!

Ànimal Crossing only came out in the US and Japan on the GC so if you do manage to source a US copy you'll need a Freeloader disc or a mod chip.

A quick check on Amazon has the game at £30 and the Freeloader at £15

Animal crossing did get a European release on the GameCube. Both it and pokemon xd are very hard to find. Best bet is ebay but it will cost you.

Must've been really late on in the GC's life? I imported it when it was released in the US as there was no prospect of an EU release at the time.

    Thanks !

Great Im going to end up spending more on this then a new console damn 9 year olds :/

Which would be easier you think ? A freeload disk or a mod chip ? Sigh why couldn't she want a bloody doll

You'd almost be better of picking up a Wii (the ones compatible with the gamecube), softmodding it, & running some content from an external hdd :o

Yeah it came out very late. It looked like it would never get a European release. It came out in Australia first and then a year after the US release it arrived in Europe.

Freeloader is a hell of a lot easier and easier to find.

    American copy on Adverts
    This one is cheap enough.
Will need the aforementioned freeloader disc or a softmodded Wii, easy thing to do tbh

Of course if you want to get the full Animal Crossing experience you'll also need a GBA and Gamecube Link cable.

Define interesting ? I mean she's 9 and I'm a pc gamer myself so not much in the way of retro games but I do have a limited amount of cash and and make a mean carrot Cake ! However I feel this may not meet with your required trade level !

    Thanks anyway tho :)

That's alright Ma'am, helping folk out is what we do, as well as calling each other names and questioning each others taste in, well, everything

took a while to find a pal version complete. would of traded for an equal game as it's part of my collection. I dont full collect retro. "Wii's not retro yet lol, but theirs little no chance you would have a hidden gem for the wii lol"

soft modded wii as long as it's a white one is the easiest.

P.S: get a wave bird , found one at a charity shop for 10 euro "was a sweet buy" xD.

I have this. PAL Version. My mother got it for me and it turned out to be one my happiest gaming memories. Would get up at various different times to play, then started cheating by moving the gamecube clock (don't let her do that!). Only'd play it for a half hour to an hour in the day but I stuck with it for months! It's an odd request by your daughter. Hopefully it'll turn out to be a brilliant one! The game isn't everyone's cup of tea. Thing is in pretty good condition. Instruction booklet has folded upwards a little. Disk works, no visible scratches. Memory card looks far than I expected it to look.

Don't want anything in return for it.

You should also congratulate your child on their great taste. Just warn them about the future financial difficulties they may face if they continue their love of old games :pac:

Wasn't even aware there was an animal crossing movie or the villagers had a history. :o

Can't fault her apparent taste though. Long may it last!

That's not necessary, I'm not really a cake eater, I'd most likely just pass it along to someone else. You could instead make it for a neighbour/friend. :)

And just to throw it in there
There is no sales or trades typically allowed in the main forum, they are only allowed to be conducted in the Marketplace, but Batchick doesn't have the post count to use it and, seeing as this is for something special for someone special, we'll let it slide this once.

I'm not giving out BTW, but it is worth saying as we've had some isolated issues in the past of folk thinking the main forum is a sales floor.

I hope the youngster is delighted with Animal Crossing on Christmas morning,

Does she have Pokemon colosseum on the GameCube? If not try track that down as it's the predecessor to XD and much cheaper.
