The second biggest Awards ceromony in Irish athletics, behind the A/R awards of course:p.

Mark English was the big winner taking home the Athlete of the year and track athlete of the year awards. Fionnula Britton won the endurance athlete of the year.

Makes sense that English gets athlete of the year, a clear winner. Nice to see Thomas Barr get some recognition too. And also nice to see Roisin McGettigan get her medal finally.

It's a bit odd that they have a male and female category for University Athlete of the Year, but they don't separate them in any other category. Still think there are too many awards, but it appears they have cut down on the amount from last year.

One category I think they should add is a "Field Athlete of the Year". Only one personal award in the entire list went to a Field athlete, and that was the Lifetime Achievement award
