He's my provisional choice as well.

Thinking Charlie Austin. Home to leicester should be a well decent shout

    Rooneyyyyyy

Excellent previous against Hull. I've never been more sure of a captain choice.

Which of course means i could end up with egg on my face.

Jeez just checked it there. 6 goals, 4 assists in 4 games against the Tigers. If I had him I'd definitely be captaining him.

EDIT: That includes 4 goals in the January 2010 meeting at Old Trafford. He has scored in 3 out of 4 Premier League games against Hull.

Currently on my new acquisition, Rooney. That should be everybody's cue to avoid Rooney.

haha yes i'd researched it seems he does like playing against them. tho that is no guarantee in itself. tonne of options this week to be fair. 'mon the Roon

You know I hear this Balotelli guy is pretty nifty. I'd say you should captain him this week. Nobody else, just you for maximum points ;)

Kevin Nolan up against his former club Newcastle. You know it makes sense Mr P.

Avoided going with Hazard last week as I was afraid to not go with Aguero. Facing a similar dilemma with Bony this week. He seems like a great choice and I have a good feeling about it but Aguero is Aguero and we saw again last night what he's capable of.

Exact same position. Had Hazard earmarked for Captain v WBA since I bought him a few weeks back, but played sensible with Aguero.

Now I want to captain Bony but same as yourself Aguero is the sensible option. On the basis that Bony's ownership is less than 5% the argument that just having him will be differential enough if he goes and hits double figures probably means it is more sensible to captain the guy who will surely be a top choice after his antics last night.

I also have it on big Wilfred! (Also have Neil Taylor & Siggy - so if the swans don't preform I could be in trouble!)

Saw Aguero score at St Marys last season on SSN this morning and he plays last of all the main captain choices. I'll be leaving the armband on the best player in the league.

I feel like I should captain Aguero but really tempted to go with Sanchez now. WBA have conceded 2 at home against Sunderland, Everton, United, Palace and Newcastle. Their only clean sheet coming against Burnley.

Had it on aguero all week but torn between Bony, Di Maria and Sanchez now given Southampton haven't shipped many at home but no top 4 side has visited yet. Probably gonna be my 3rd bad captaincy choice of the season costing me more valuable points. Ho hum!

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 6,962 ✭✭✭Hogey007

i'm torn between costa and di maria. i'm surprised di maria has such little votes on here. I suppose when you have a striker scoring as much as costa has against a team that has already conceded 8 in one match this season it will take a lot of votes away from di maria.

Di Maria has only scored 3 goals so far...that would put me off when options like Sanchez and Aguero are banging them in.

he has 6 assists though but yeah those 3 goals all came early on in the season too so I'm going to go with Costa as captain. that was my last decision to make this morning so i'm going to log out of FF before i get tempted to change it again.

Very, very tempted by Charlie Austin.

I haven't taken any chances this year with the captaincy, Aguero, Rooney and Costa have been the only three that I have captained, and as a Sunderland fan I feel we are quite solid and hard to break down despite the 8-0 capitulation at Southampton, while Southampton have kept things extremely tight at home.

    Another hour to decide. :pac:

Hmmm I'm not sure what to make over the lack of love for Aguero. Is it a great thing or should I be concerned with my faith in him isn't universal?

Went with Sanchez in the end but my captaincy choices have been more miss than hit this year. I'd captain Costa if I had him.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 21,510 ✭✭✭✭PARlance

Gave it to my only big hitter at home, Di Maria.
Costa, Aguero & Sanchez all had their hand up but just went with my gut. A confident United at home. Let there be goals.

Didn't check on the captaincy until a few minutes ago. I had it on Hazard so hoping he can produce the goods today.

Followed FFS poll and went with Costa. Have a dreadful captain record this year which accounts in itself for my disappointing ranking but didn't have the gut to go for either my 2 new signings Austin or ADM...
