Have been staying away from anything over a treble lately, but looking at the Copa Fixtures this weekend...

    Mexico v Bolivia
    Uruguay v Jamaica
    Chile v Ecuador
    Colombia v Venezuela
    Brazil v Peru
    Argentina v Paraguay

I'm quite tempted for a small stake on 6 home wins @ 5.13

Anyone I should be wary of?

I took 5 of them, left mexico out as they are not full strength, like Mr Green said already.
They concentrate on the Gold Cup later this summer.

Btw, there is a Copa America thread.

Think 1.4 is a stupid unrealistic price for germany against USA. Germany got beat by Poland, drew against Ireland, looked very unimpressive any other time. USA beat the dutch (though the dutch are very poor) the other night, and always give a lot for the team.

    250 on the draw @5

Ha noi beat the same team 5-0 in March, and won their game last Saturday 7-1. Have scored 28 goals in 7 matches and conceded only 3
The AH is currently Hanoi -1.5,2.0 @ 1.675 and goal line is over 3.0,3.5 @ 1.75.
Will have a bit of both now and also wait for the in play to see if it goes up.

    Game at 12:45 irish time

Complete and utter bust, losing 0-1 with 4 mins left
    Sorry for any who followed

I got an email the other day from a nigerian prince looking to split his fortune with me. I can't say much here but I'm pretty much set for life after this all goes through.

Just don't give him your ass too soon as he won't respect you then.

What looks like to be the Holland line up against Latvia (friday):

    Cillesen
Janmaat - De Vrij - Martins Indi - Willems

Blind - Van Persie - Sneijder

    Narsingh - Huntelaar - Depay

That is a very attacking line up that should provide enough goals and corners. At the same time it is defensively very vulnerable with Van Persie and Sneijder and Blind not going to give much cover for the 4 at the back of who Janmaat and Willems like to go forward as well.

So i can see Latvia score

    Already on Holland/BTTS @3.6

Match in Holland was 6-0 and had 16 corners (14-2)

Also hope Gibraltar - Germany (saturday) will have corner bets available as there should be a few there as well. Match in Germany was 4-0 had 22 corners (20-2)

    EDIT:

Disclaimer: That line up is taken form the fact that the colour of bibs used in training are usually a good sign of who is going to play.
But we have Guus Hiddink, tactical genius ™, who had Clasie in the startin line up all week prior to the match vs Turkey at home but Guus chickened out and choose for more defensive security.
At home.... being the 3rd in the WC 5 months earlier.... against Turkey..... being scared.
So who the **** knows what Guus come out with this time.

Doesnt take away my thoughts on those 2 particular bets.

    Daejon v Seoul
Seoul are flying, not lost in 7 in the league, beat top of the table Jeonbuk away on Saturday. Daejon are bottom and 9pts from safety already, should be a cakewalk for Seoul. (1.57)

    Goyang v Gangwon
Interesting one...Goyang are 5th of 11, but have lost 5 of their 6 home games so far this season. However 4 of those were against the teams above them, and they have more than made up for it with their fantastic away form. Gangwon are bottom but have won 2 of their last 3 away games, but those 2 are the only points they've picked up in their last 7 matches.
The 2.25 available for a home side against the bottom side is too big to leave

    Goyang win 2.25
    Goyang/Seoul double 3.83

Followed you on the double, had given up on the bet when I got a goalflash for Daejon 1-0 at 82 mins.. Seoul turned it around with two late goals :)

    Come on Goyang!

Some people bet in pennies, some bet in thousands.

Who are you to question someone's stake?

because some people also have gambling problems and gambling can ruin lives...

€250 to the average person is a lot of money (~70% of a full week's pay on minimum wage) so rather than just assume someone can afford it, it makes sense to question whether they can - if only to let them know that it's not normal...

if they can afford it, great... no harm done...

Without trying to come across like an utter c u n t.

However much that person bets is of no concern mine or anyone elses. And if someone has a 'gambling problem' which is none of my business nor do I care, this is a gambling forum, I don't think somebody saying on the Internet

''Hey mate, you stake a lot you must have a gambling problem, go get help''

For all you know some people are playing with bookies money etc, it's really nobodies business how much anybody stakes. It's why I rarely say how much I stake.

I would consider myself a pretty serious gambler, but I bet less than some of the big stakers here, it all boils down to ROI anyway.

What a great shout. It seemed like there was about 10 mins injury time in the Goyang game. Red card for them too.

What do you mean it all boils down to ROI?

    Return on investment.

Just because somebody bets big doesn't necessary mean they're a good tipster.

    For example.

Player A Averages 100 per bet. End of year his total stake is 10K, and returned 20K

Play B Averages 10 per bet End of year his total stake is 1K and returned 3K.

Player B has a better ROI, but player A has more money just because his stakes where higher.

    Trebic vs HFK Olomouc

2nd bottom vs 4th bottom, 2 teams that don't score much but concede plenty.
Trebic haven't scored at goal at home in 2015, and only have 5 goals in 13 games in 2015. HFK Olomouc have 3 away goals in 6 away games in 2015.

    Under 2.5 goals 2.0
small bit on 0-0 at 11.0

Ah lads relax, I have no issue with someone questioning my stakes or anyone else's. Especially since they could be asking how sure are you that this bet represents good value, which is a very important thing to ask if you're thinking of backing someone else's tip.

And someone saying wow look at those stakes makes me feel like a big man, plus I get to make a joke about email scams winning me 8 recommends. Sweet as a nut.

However much that person bets is of no concern mine or anyone elses. And if someone has a 'gambling problem' which is none of my business nor do I care, this is a gambling forum...

gambling is a huge problem for a lot of people and if we normalise placing €250 bets on a single market in a friendly, it's going to result in problems for more people... particularly younger people who may just be starting to gamble..

you're right about it all coming down to ROI but strangely enough you don't see any gamblers tracking and publishing their lifetime ROI... could it be that the vast majority of gamblers are modest about their impressive lifetime ROI or could it be that the lifetime ROI is negative and therefore seen as embarrassing to publish?

There are gambling tip websites where you have to post your ROI otherwise you are gone.

We dont do that here and i seriously doubt many here keep track.

Thing is, it is just better to leave amounts out of it and just post stakes in the form of "small/medium/big" depending on how confident you are about your bet.
And not many do that either...
