Roma V City:

Roma: Will be guaranteed progress by beating City. A 0-0 draw would also see them into the last-16 if CSKA lose to Bayern, while a score-draw would be enough if CSKA also draw.

Manchester City: Complicated. Will qualify with a win in Rome as long as CSKA do not win in Germany. Will also qualify with a score-draw if CSKA lose.

Surely if CSKA lose, and City and Roma are both on 6 points while they're on 5, then City would go through with a better goal difference?

Only if it's a score draw as H2H goes first.


So H2H would be

City V Roma 1-1
Roma V City 0-0

Roma scored away so they would qualify

Contemplating no score, low score first half and in theory this would aid that as City will likely be blunt short a few attacking players.

But I had been looking at before from a point of City keeping Bayern at bay for so long in the first game in Munich and hoping that they could do similar. Not sure if Roma are great defensively.

Think they had one of the best defence in Italy last season.
City will win in my opinion, everyone underestimates Dzeko, does everyone forget Dzeko was basically city main striker last year,Aguero was injuried allot last year aswell as jovetic.
Kompany and silva having late fitness tests and if they if both start then city win!

The price is probably worth backing now, as if they are fit the odds will drop dramatically. Rumors Rossi out for Roma as well afink
