swore I'd back dundee utd when they play dundee again (7/4)
8 wins and a draw in their last 9 now for utd in this fixture

the worrying thing is their recent form however but I'm sure they'll lift themselves for this one

surprised to see falkirk at evens away to livingston who are bottom with only 14pts, important game for falkirk also who are 4th with 52pts
not sure why that isn't shorter

Was looking at that last night.
Falkirk also have a tough few games ahead, 2pts ahead of Queen Of the South, who have a game in hand. 4th place up for grabs and with it promotion 'play off'
    Q. Of South away is Falkirk next fixture, if Falkirk lose or Draw tonight, the Play off place is possibly gone.

Livingston is a must win game for Falkirk

    344456.PNG

    344457.PNG

    PP odds for the game
    Falkirk - 5/6
    Falkirk/Falkirk - 15/8
Falkirk win to nil - 12/5 (1 goal conceded in last 4 games)
    Under 2.5 - 1/1 4goals in 4 games(3wins 1-0, 1 lose 0-1)

Interesting game on in Asia this morning in the Asian Champions League

last time out between Brisbane and Suwon was 3-3 in this group and they are both locked on 4 points fighting for second with only goal difference dividing the places. there is only one match to go before the group finishes so today plays a huge part in deciding who gets second.

    http://ie.soccerway.com/matches/2015/04/08/asia/afc-champions-league/suwon-bluewings/brisbane-roar-fc/2007285/head2head/

Given that Beijing beat bottom placed Urawa later on today, then the last set of matches in this group will see Brisbane and Suwon playing two teams with nothing to play for and most likely not fielding full strength. this makes today's result even more important to my mind.

Brisbane have been going overs loads lately in the +4.5 and +5.5 area right up to +8.5 in one crazy game. Suwon last 4 in a row cleared +2.5

    ricj0j.jpg

Line is set at +2.5 for this game as the bookies possibly think they'll keep it tight to begin with considering all that is on the line.

I think I'm gonna give it a while in play then start backing goals. At the very minimum Brisbane have to take the game to Suwon at some point. I can see some goal action open up in the second half.

    Good shout this

    Good shout this

Cheers man, 3-1 FT not too bad. Went exactly as predicted with tight start and all goals coming in second half. Only thing is I was away in the end and missed the start of the second half. Got on GL +4.0 only to get a refund. Hopefully it was of use to others though.

Anyone have any thoughts on the Bayer Leverkusen v Bayern Munchen match tonight? It's the quarter final of the cup I think.

Considering BTTS as Leverkusen had a decent run at home and Bayern had a good away record in the cup. Will wait and see what others think, kick off is at 19:30.

    Plenty.

    1. Leverkusen are quite frugal of late and have won 6 on the bounce domestically. The rested plenty on the weekend too.

    2. They were resolute against Atletico Madrid in another 'cup' game last month.

    3. Bayern were very dogged last Saturday against Dortmund and grinded out a win, never really looking troubled.

4.They are still without Ribery, Robben and Alaba and I read that Schweinstieger might be rested also.

It's a tricky one this. I'm reluctant to back goals given Bayern's recent performances add to that the fact that Leverkusen have lost to them and Wolfsburg repeatedly you might imagine them being conservative.

Bayern at just under evens does represent value given their quality but I'm really not sure. It'll be a standalone one this if anything.

    Cue 0-4 Bayern Munich!

Anyone else have anything to say?

Anyone taking a bet on Barca v Almeria?

Almeria after sacking their manager after the 4-1 defeat last weekend. After Real thumping Granada 9-1 and Barca only putting 1 past Celta De Vigo they may be in the mood to dish out a proper walloping.

Only bit of worry is the foot injury Messi has been carrying.

    The odds are dismal.

Just checking the lines there and they want 6 goals in the match for the main Asian goal line. Good luck to that. an in play bet would be the only chance.

    The odds are dismal.

Not much of a return 80% of the bets, odd or even goals is giving the best return :)

Might be a bit to squeeze out on 1st Half Over 1.5 Goals@ 4/9
Celta Vigo game should have been at least 3-0

Alot better odds out there tonight, might be a match to avoid.

Any fancies for Blackburn DC at 13/10 ?

Any fancies for Blackburn DC at 13/10 ?

Yes will definitely be doing that. Liverpool are so off form and with the injuries & suspensions would be surprised to see them win.

Worth including in an accumulator i think.

    I prefer the draw @ 3/1

Liverpool face a similar headache like Blackburn ahead of the game as they’ll be without several first team regulars. Adam Lallana and Mario Balotelli will miss the game through injuries while Emre Can, Martin Skrtel and Steven Gerrard are suspended for the clash.

Blackburn’s biggest concern will be their striker’s Rudy Gestede’s fitness as the Frenchman did not last the full game against Leeds and was substituted due to a hamstring problem. Gestede is likely to miss the game. Also likely to miss the game are center back Grant Hanley and striker Chris Brown.

Everyone thinks that Liverpool win (83%).
Everyone thinks that Liverpool is very important this cup.
This is very popular bet in second place after Real Madrid
However, Liverpool until March and after March - are two different clubs.

    Maybe not lose Blackburn
And a little to win Blackburn.

I'd really stay away from the barca game for overs. They play seville away in 4 days the PSG 3 days after that.

    Seville are undefeated at home.
    Home stats:
11 wins and 4 draws. 4 cleansheets at moment and 9 cleanshets out of 15.

Will be a tough grind for barca to grab even a point.

I think once they get 2 goals clear tonight they will look at cruise control. Ignore the hype of Madrid got 9, Barca want 9. It's balls. Barca want the league and the C. League.

Thats not to say that tonight barca don't knock in 9 :) Anything could happen. Just my opinion Barca wont chase this game down...
If I were Barca manger I'd have my eye on next two games and not my goal difference

Fourfold with a horse in Aintree tomorrow thrown in, the horse looks a banker, famous last words.

7/1 best priced with powers for the fourfold.
    • Liverpool win
    • Under 2.5 Goals - Dundee FC v Dundee Utd
    • Cristiano Ronaldo - Rayo Vallecano v Real Madrid - Score/Win Double
    • Hargam - Aintree 14:15 (Thurs)

Went with BTTS in the end. 2012 - now 4/6 games played between these 2 had btts come in. Given Leverkusen's recent home record, Munichs away record in the cup i think there's a good chance.

Barca game I went 1st half over 1.5
Its a pointless bet i tend to do... 4/9 with €5 on, I'll buy myself a 1/2 shandy with the winnings :D

I thought they'd want this game done within the first 35mins.

Is Almeria +5 overpriced @ 8/15 with Ladbrokes and bet365?

A couple of bets for the Liverpool game:
    Draw @3/1
    Liverpool to win 2-1 @8/1

urgh. Nothing looking tasty for me.

Few haevy favourite accas for 2 points.

Backed Udinese in play at 0-0 so there's one down the swanny.

PSG: Douchez – Van der Wiel, Marquinhos, Thiago Silva (c), Digne – Verratti, Cabaye, Rabiot – Lavezzi, Ibrahimovic, Pastore

St Etienne: Ruffier – Clerc, Théophile-Catherine, Perrin (c), Tabanou – Hamouma, Diomandé, Clément, Lemoine, Mollo - Erding

St Etienne are clearly aiming for extra time (and penalties) with a defensive-minded line up and top scorer Gradel on the bench

weakish line up for PSG wioth Cabaye and Rabiot in midfield and Lavezzi with his HORRIBLE finishing up front

Liverpool -1 at 2/1. Just feel if they go 1 up the front men will have a field day. They should really be beating this Blackburn side by a couple. Even with their form this is still a decent price

Decided to get in Liverpool -2 @4/1 just for interest. Like has been said liverpoo should be beating them by a couple

Barca 8 corners in first half. Was worried with the barca game over 9. Have a good feeling about this one.
    have €75 on it.
