The most annoying speaking voice in Ireland

There was one of the Northern Irish Correspondents on radio had this sown up for years but I now think Katie Taylor has just knocked it our of the park.
Can't wait to hear her monotone drone after wining another world championship today.
Listen as she never makes an attempt to annunciate any part of the sentence & just rolls one line into the next without pauses.

Who else has a voice who turns you off ?

Alan Hughes, Sinead Desmond, Rachel Allen, Michael Ring, Michael Noonan, Joe Higgins, Mick Wallace, any AA Roadwatch person, anyone from Cork, any Oireachtas members from Tipperary, anyone on Xposé.

Will add more later, feel better already.

Senator Averil Power has a really annoying vocal tic. It's a pity because she's a good speaker otherwise, but I find myself waiting for the next "Aya..am" in her sentence.

Chris Donoghue from Newstalk wins hands down for me. He is obsessed with over articulation, and his aggressive 't' leaps out of every word and it pretty much feels like I'm being whacked on the head repeatedly at that hour of the morning.

Soften it up a bit Chris! (I'm sure Ivan would find an innuendo there).:)

Lotti Ryan.. I don't know where she got the accent.
And your woman on Newstalk not sure what her name is, can't listen to the programme long enough to hear her name!

...edit: Found her name - Orla Barry

    and Tony Fenton

That woman on KCLR. Sue Nunn I think her name is. The most depressing voice I've ever heard. Nice lady though! :D

Anyone with a Shamerican accent drives me bonkers as well.

    Matt Cooper by a mile.
The combination of dis, dat, dese and dose with a mouthful of spit makes me nauseous.
One of those suction thingys like you get at the dentist in the side of his gob while he's prattling on might be worth a try.

I cannot bear listening to Paschal Donohue TD, is it a lisp or lateral "S" he has going there?

The Westlife gimp on 2fm. He needed to be gagged not put on the radio.

My own voice is the most annoying, I just hate listening back to myself and no doubt others do too when it comes to their own voices.

    Katie Taylor's voice is horrific.

I'd never say it to her though or she would clobber me with 5 times world champion fists

Its a shame because she could probably do quite nicely from adverts etc.

Another vote for Katie Taylor, she sounds like she's doped up to the eyeballs on sleeping tablets or something.
George Hook sounds like he's chewing on something constantly, shlurping his way through sentences.
    Joan Burton, good Jesus...

Irish people in general have very poor annunciation in certain parts of the country, and don't get me starting on not being able to pronounce "th" in words.

that guy who does the ad's for 'the phoenix'

WTF sort of a nasally accent is that? Only ad on the radio that makes me station jump immediately I so much cant stand to hear it. Baseball bat to the fcuking throat is called for.
