I priced my just completed shed as tank only or tank and shed
so when the prices came back verbally, i went for full shed at x price
Now the builder is charging me for the walls as extras
i had believed the walls were included and never asked him about building them
Am i suppose to pay full price for walls ?

Id say a case of crossed wires.
He seem s to think its a given that a shed & tank quote does not include walls
i was wondering would other guys think the same or am i out of step in that i understood it included the walls of the shed

The shed generally means the steel, timbers and cladding for the roof.

Dis you ask for quote for full shed off a plan.

There was no plan, just a talk through on building it on to another shed. So thats where the wires got crossed.

Sometimes fellas make sure there are crossed wires. That is why if not working off a plan you need to detail everything that is or is not included.

If I understand ye, ye got one price, and cos it was cheap, you went for the "full shed", and he's now giving you the original quote, and charging you anything after the original agreed price as an extra?

Seems you're both chancers, but you're the one left holding the baby bill.
