Id like to hear from people with ankle Cartilage Damage, or Osteochondral Lesions,
I damaged my Ankle badly 12 years ago when i was 19, crushed cartilage on the talus and bruised it badly, I had arthroscopy in cappagh orthopaedic about 2 yrs after the injury where they cleaned away the damaged cartilage.

My ankle was better after the surgery but never the same since. Lately its been acting up a lot as im on my feet a lot with work, im worried im accelerating arthritis and my eventually have to get the ankle joint fused together.

I know they can do ankle joint replacement but i doubt they would do it on me at 32 yrs of age and its supposed to be quite complicated unlike the knee.

Can anyone share there experience on this with me.
