Are there any professions you would consider scummy?

Good and bad in all groups, but I think the following professions are conducive in attracting cnuts.

    1. Human Resources (HR) - Borgs.

    2. Politicians - It's passe but definitely tends to attract narcissistic personalities.

    3. Corporate lawyers - Money hungry sociopaths

    Criminal defence lawyers

dunno how someone could even stand being in the presence of child molesters and murderers, let alone accept money to defend them in court and sometimes even get them released from prison early

    GP receptionist.

Today I was told that coughing up blood, tightness across my chest and shortness of breath did not necessitate an appointment and that I should ride it out. Coughing. Up. Blood.

Edit: yes, I'm ok. Just mad at Gandalf the Receptionist. Follow up post #62

Head hunter/Recruitment executive. Soul destroying to be one with a conscience. Very like HR, only they're better able to juggle people's hopes, fears and expectations - all wrapped up in corporate-speak.

Debt collectors aren't the problem. It's the money lenders or people levying fees which cause debts to amass who are the scum.

Ah they're not scummy they're just stupid. I reckon if you dropped a glass cage over one when they're running after someone they will keep trying to run through the glass until the cage is removed
