Transferring Microsoft Office.

I have purchased another laptop but has no microsoft office on it. I kept the old hard drive of the computer and have a hard drive reader so is it possible to move it onto my new computer.
I am able to move photos,documents no problem, found the office on the hard drive but my limited knowledge am unable to move it. Its 2007 that is on the hard drive.

You'll need the physical cd and the license (You can't copy and paste a program to a new device).

I don't have the licence or cd, will have to purchase one so i guess.

You can download the cd from here (legitimately!):

If you have access to the old machine run this program on it to get the key.

Without the COA , media, serial number , box or receipt it's going to be hard to convince anyone you own it.

Also if it was OEM office or an upgrade from OEM office then you aren't allowed to move it anyway
