I know was really hoping to see the Leon launched, I think it it will look really good in FR spec! was hoping to consider it for 2020!

Hehe, my PCP ends in May and I am between hard place and a rock. New Leon will most definitely be here only late next year.
Half thinking just paying off balloon and wait to see what's new Leon like or just get second hand Leon Cupra and still be a Boy racer.

My PCP is up too but I've decided to keep paying the repayments until the new one comes along. They went up slightly. The new Leon looks good so I think I'd only be kicking myself if I purchased now. Although a Cupra would be savage.

Would it be awkward to start refinancing the balloon payment for a few months while you hold off for a new model? Might have to do it myself next year and hold off until January.

Latest Mk8 GTE photoed here still with some tape over the body panels around the light clusters:

No it only took me 5 minutes. They’ll just change it to a hire purchase and there’ll be a different interest rate. Sign the piece of paper and off you go.

Sadly I had a Maths teacher long ago who made us study compound interest, present and future value of money and so forth.

Have never paid a cent on a car loan.

A lot of people are paying no interest on car loans now, the real cost is depreciation.

No, if you've done the sums and it makes sense, go for it. I'm sneering at folk who think this is cool:

Not entirely sure where I said it was cool? It works for me, I'm sure the user who asked the question initially is a big boy or girl and can do their own homework and see if they want to be cool or not.

That's interesting, carwow on youtube said "there will not be an electric golf" instead it'll be the id3. Must have been mistaken.

& no full electric...... "The plug-in hybrid GTE will also be offered, but the e-Golf won’t make it to another generation due to the arrival of the I.D. family, Diess confirmed." .......... (Volkswagen boss, Herbert Diess)

Any idea what could be wrong with my temperature reading in the car, it thinks it's 8 degrees outside.

It wouldn't make sense to have two electric hatchbacks in the eGolf and ID3.

It makes sense for them to have 3 different ICE hatchbacks though?

Anyone on here got a golf with a sunroof, any issues with them, going to look at a mk 7 allstar which has a sunroof, I think its standard on that spec?

Yip 2016 7R with a sunroof. No issues - except a load of dead flies stuck to the wind deflector / fly catcher that pops up.

They're all in different segments though. The up! is smaller than a Polo, which is smaller than a Golf. The entire way along VW have said the ID3 is near identical in exterior size to a Golf.

€32 for front wipers in VW, anyone have a price off the top of their head elsewhere? Could have sworn I saw Bosch wipers for €40 somewhere.

6mm on the Pilot Sports after 6,000km, is it me or does that seem a bit quick?

€32 is cheap, what brand are they Bosch? I paid €22 for Valeo ones recently at PR Reilly with a trade discount, find them just as good as OEM ones really.

Not sure, just got the service email with the cost. I suppose €32 isn't so bad.

Don't be doing much of that in the 1 litre :D Heard many reports of people getting 30k from them, I just hope they last longer than 20k of the Bridgestone that came with them.
