I am a normal size 10-12 in clothes, and 5'5. I look ok in most clothes but nothing above the knee. When I lose weight its goes from my stomach and every where else but I cant lose anything from my massive thighs!!

I know there are leg exercises I've tried and I run most days but if there is any other specific exercise to tone up that area I am all ears. Lunges I suppose? The quickest way is lyposuckion!!;)

You can't target where you want to shed fat. Just focus on losing overall body fat and it will eventually come from your thighs.

Can't spot reduce. For women, generally thighs is were the last of the fat is. For men, its the stomach.

    yep. that'll solve everything.

just don't assess your diet, calorie intake, benefit of the exercise you;re doing (training smarter)

The fat will just deposit somewhere else - save time now and get it done over your entire body :pac:

If you are losing weight then keep doing what you are doing, it'll come in time.

Juicy thighs are sexy, do your squats and embrace it.

More orange peel than juicy!! That's it, I even have creases in them, big mad wobbly things...slap those thighs and ride the waves! HA:p

Then go and lose some weight... and while you're at it, do Squats

there are very few things in life that cant be improved through frequent squats -

    this is not a squat - plie%20squat.png

    this is a squat - 8740330.png
note the full depth and the fact that the guy actually looks like he spends some flipping time in the gym

and the second thing that helps is being way more honest with your diet - get off the wheat and sugar containing foods.

You should see a doctor if you suspect a medical condition. Assuming you are ill and then acting based on that is silly.

so many people read something on the internet or in a magazine and self diagnose.

it is usually used as an excuse or reason to not even try or why you keep failing when it is usually just down to self control, discipline and good planning

still think your initial thought is the best course of action

    go for liposuction

Not short on discipline or self control as I take classes in evening, running and gymnastics and on a steady diet (may slip up this time of year)! I always knew I had some issues as never lost weight in my upper thighs but no complaints anywhere else. No I wouldn't use it as excuse, more of a disappointment but will be continuing exercise regardless. Thanks anyway for replies. :o
