How does this sub reddit even exist? "fat people hate"

Can anyone make their own sub reddits? Is there no moderation to remove hate filled ones like this? This is more along the type of sh!t you'd expect on places like 4chan

There are dickheads everywhere D. Like the poor they will always be with us. The interwebs gives them a voice that they think important. It also gives them anonymity to expel their crap and bile and it makes them appear larger than they are. The rest of us just have to remember not to buy into their lame bullshít and just ignore it, like one would the chattering of chimps.

Only started using it recently so I guess I'll be seeing how deep the rabbit hole goes, I always thought reddit was a real PC site though

I'm glad it isn't, there's a place for both. Want a site where you can create a community for photoshopping hitler's face on pornstars bodies? There's surely something like that out there. Boards is boards, and honestly, it's definitely much tighter in moderation but has many benefits for it.

I am not nearly so sure D. Yea there can be an element of that, but also more than a sniff of what's said in jest... kinda thing. It does tend to be a very common meme among many out there. Particularly American men. They seem to be really adrift, or many of them are. Not sure of their role, not sure of how they deal with life, career and women and not sure about how they deal with themselves.

Yes anyone can make their own subreddits, no there are not many rules to Reddit and no you very likely can't get that one banned, subreddits are moderated by their own moderators who can set additional restrictions on what can and can't be posted about on each subreddit

The ones that were banned were /r/n****rs and /r/jailbait, as well as /r/thefappening

First time I heard that phrase was from a group of canadian girls. they wouldn't stop saying it all night long. I was mightily confused.
