[edit] seriously though, I entered it and got the credit. My fares are normally €10-15, so are there any of the schneaky terms & conditions that mean it's only valid on fare that are over €20?

How do these promo codes work? Does the fare need to be a higher value to the discount or can you use say 2 separate €10 fares?

If you have €20 credit it and the taxi costs €17 then you lose the €3. Only one can be used at a time as far as i know.

Sorry, it's 2 x €20.
One at the top of the screen and one down the bottom saying unused.

Both expire on 31/12/14.

If you have more than one code, the most recent code in your wallet is used first - right?

I got both the AIB one and the earlier one this evening. It looks like the AIB one deleted my earlier free €20 and gave me a different free €20. Net result is I'm €20 better off, not €40. Not that I'm complaining.

[edit] hmm, the original one shows up in "credits history" which kind of sounds like it's gone, you know . . . it's history. Time will tell.

I've had the hailo app on my phone since the service launched but never used it. Is there ever any hassle using the voucher code to pay the fare?

This is one of my side projects, I did that about a year ago it's currently 3rd on my list to revitalise (with Hailo and Uber codes - hopefully user submission too) so should get around to it around Xmas/New Year.

Can't believe I missed 2 x €20 codes
