    Singer Dolores O'Riordan held after alleged incident on flight

    From RTÉ News

    Musician Dolores O’Riordan has been arrested by gardaí after an alleged incident on a New York to Shannon flight.

    A female flight attendant was allegedly assaulted shortly before the plane landed in Shannon.

    Gardaí were called and it is understood a member of the gardaí was also assaulted.

    She was arrested and brought to Shannon Garda Station, where she is being questioned.




    The kind of shenanigans you associate with rock stars when they are still actually rock stars.

    Not when they become former rock stars. Has she a new album or a book coming out soon or something?

    Of the few times I've had the unfortunate experience of seeing her on The Voice, she always seemed to be full of her own importance so a story like this doesn't really surprise me.

    Probably the same way anyone else would assault a garda.

    I remember an ex of mine describing a scrawny junkie lady of about 5foot and 6 stone hopped up on a 6foot plus gardas back and dragging her nails deep into his face. I'd never assume a little person wasn't dangerous.
