Good Health Food stores in Dublin?

    Hello,

I am slowly getting more familiar with Dublin. I wonder if anyone can suggest a few good health food stores in Dublin, and perhaps clear a few things up for me?

The organic food scene here does not seem transparent to me or I am not being careful enough. Calling a food organic does not seem to mean it meets EU organic certification standards.

What I am looking for is a health food shop with a wide selection of organic produce with a certification body symbol and EU code number, not just a couple of items but a good selection.

I have been to a few organic markets. But there doesn't seem to be an all in one stop.

Also it's not always local which I would prefer. I have tried green earth organics but you have to take what they have on offer each week and you might be getting red peppers from Spain or a courgettes from Italy.

I notice a some health food shops have health conscious products but not much raw produce. And a grocers might have an organic veg/fruit selection but not much for your pantry.

    Do you have any suggestions?

Doesn't look like you are looking for Good Health Food.

It reads like you are looking for "organic certification". Tesco say they cover that:

Pretty sure I see organic food in Lidl too.

I'd guess all the bigger supermarkets in the country have some foods with certification.

    Thank you for replying.

No you misunderstand me, I am looking for both.

I am looking for both 'Healthfood' and organic in one stop if possible.

I guess like a Whole Foods or Trader Joe's would be in the states. Not like Tesco or Lidl.
