    Probably Olives.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 4,785 ✭✭✭KungPao

    brussel sprouts
As with other veg like cauliflower and broccoli, the problem is the way people boil them into mush.

A bit of salt, black pepper, and olive oil, then lash them into the oven...ooh yes.

Probably out of date milk that resembled cottage cheese.

Cod liver oil. Not in a tablet like the cosseted children of today but on a spoon with the threat of physical bodily harm looming large.

Black olives aren't so bad, but green olives must grow in the depths of Hell.

    Awful things.

Why did you feel the need to say "in your mouth"? like is the alternative to tastes in your mouth tastes up your ass or something?

For me it is anything that is "Sweet and sour", no food should be violated like that where a spare rib tastes like sugar

A mixture of engine oil and swarfega, thought it was gravy.

I remember I made out with someone once and we had just been to McDonalds. When I was making with out her, she put her tongue into my mouth and all I could/feel was half chewed fries with ketchup. I literally tried not to throw up. It was horrible

Some type of paté. Had a metallic taste like it had been tainted or something. Was part of a company dinner organised by a company using their own catering facilities welcoming new recruits and their families. 22 years later the mere thought of it sends a shiver through me. The rankest thing I've ever tasted by far.

That beer bottle that people use as an ashtray at a house party that has a little bit of beer left in it and is right next to your beer bottle so you pick it up and take a slug before realising its the wrong bottle.

We grew up out the country, so it was great being able to collect mushrooms from the fields for the brekkie. One morning I came down and the bro had the fry-up in full swing with loads of fresh mushrooms. Looked and smelled ****ing amazing. All downhill from there though. :( I was first to get fed, and as soon as I bit into the first mushroom I spat it across the kitchen. Can't even describe the taste it was so bad. Turns out the bro had intended to head out to the fields looking for some but on his way spotted a load of them beside a shed and picked them, thinking he had got lucky. Now, as most country people will know, field mushrooms generally grow in degraded cow **** when the temp and humidity are just right. However, the area these mushrooms were picked was previously the site of a dog run and what I had eaten was, quite literally, the fungus from a dog turd.

Funnily enough, I went off mushrooms after that. Can't even stomach mushroom soup.

The taste caused when my nose was being cauterized. Just nasty. Probably deserved it for the lack of care taken with my face playing hurling and rugby.

Did you chew it first? I only ask because if you had the time to taste it then the assumption would be that you'd have the time to spit it out :D
