    Such a poorly coached team.

    It's incredibly frustrating

We essentially start every game 1 nil down so poor are we at the back.

Arsenal even more than United last week are there for the taking but when you have such a clueless manager who should be managing Burnley or Leicester then it ain't going to happen and we will probably lose this game now.

    Wonderful contribution.

If we just had a defensive coach who could set the team up to defend against set pieces that alone would probably stop 60% of the goals we concide.

Why can't the manager and coaching staff see this!

Burnley or Leicester wouldn't take him.

Nothing to do with coaching just another mistake by Skrtel who is terrible. We have been very well set up by Rodgers today.

Skrtel is 6 inches taller than debuchy and as always more interested in wrestling than heading the ball clear. Piss poor defending than no coach can be held responsible for.

I'd give my right thumb to have Danny Agger back.

Toure and Sakho when for the same ball and that ball went straight back in yes Skrtel was sh1t for it but why are the other two centre halfs jumping into each other.

    That is down to coaching.

Markovic has few traits similar to babel. Not a good thing but he's looking threatening and has a decent touch which the latter of course didn't

    Yes it is.

It is... it's from coaching when you're about 11 - but it's got SFA to do with coaching at the top level, it's poor decision making from the players

    Exactly.

But if you have an agenda its Rodgers' fault

    That looked a nasty one.

So Liverpool players are told just stand around the box when set pieces are coming in and do what you can when the ball comes in.

    Poor descision making from players.

Or can they be coached on who to mark and to give a call that they are going for the ball so 2 players dont jump into each other?

    Poor coaching.

    Doing neither is bad coaching.

How many goals do we concide from set pieces since Rodgers became manager has all been down to poor decision making form the players.

The 3-4-3 formation certainly looks to suit our squad and it looks to be the way forward.

Gerrard, Henderson and Lallana ineffectual today. Nearly everything good is coming through Couthino and Markovic.

Early days but good to see Markovic starting to turn things around.

Badly need sturridge back, also badly need a defensive coach who can drill basics into this defense.

Why Borini now and not earlier this season? Mind bottling.

It is coaching. Defending is systematic in nature its why good defence coaching pays dividends. You need to work as units within the defensive half of your game, to be drilled constantly so you eat and sleep it. Good coaching means each player will know where he is in relation to the others within that defence, it means understanding how to marshal space as well as players. It means anticipation is almost instinctive.

If people don't think that there has been signs of improvement today then they're not watching the game or they're so biased against Rodgers that they can't see the truth.

Even at the back while the errors are still there and both goals were poorly defended we've looked more solid than we have earlier in the season. Tons of work to do but there is some hope there...

Its been said before but Danny out there and we're prob winning by a goal or two. :(

Attacking play has improved last couple of week when we've started with some mobility up top. It's what the fans have been crying out for all season, Rodgers copping on eventually isn't something we should be praising him for.

Defensively we're as bad as ever. It's so frustrating that the manager is incapable of making us solid in any way.
