    I like his films.

Phew, that feels good to admit :D

It did seem like he was in everything about four or five years ago. A bit like Jim Carrey in the mid-90's. But I think his moment has passed.

But I think his moment has passed.
Well, Rogen has just been cast as Steve Wozniak, the other co-founder of Apple Computers, opposite Christian Bale in Danny Boyle's Jobs. Maybe that moment has passed and a new one's starting?

Plays the same eejit in every film. He's turning into the new Adam Sandler. An overgrown unfunny child.

i actually like a lot of his films, and think he is a decent actor. not really fair to put him in the same category as Adam Sandler.

He's been involved in some great films like 50/50, Knocked Up, Superbad. Others like Pineapple Express, Bad Neighbours and This is the End are entertaining and a good laugh. He's much better than some of the comedy actors around about the year 2000

His best role was in the tv show Freaks and Geeks

Sandler is brutal. Rogen is miles ahead of Sandler.

cant stand him in knocked up. but I have to say, hilarious in superbad and 40 yr old virgin, both very funny films.
in fact that superbad is the funniest film ive seen in years and still is.
I think it's because most of the actors were still hungry but now they're a bunch of jewish guys who think they can churn out any crap and it's funny

ah don't start with the anti-Semitism crap brigade will ya, it's too over-played!! It's in the same context as the wayans brothers and the scream movies. all the same actors, no diversity, patting each other on the backs!!!

He isn't the greatest actor in the world, but most of his films are funny. If it helps, watch them when high, works for me.

Still, why did you feel the need to say, "a bunch of Jewish guys"?

He's an excellent actor. Obviously well connected given the amount of big films he was in early in his career, but his performance in The Wolf of Wall Street was Oscar-worthy, and I thought he was very good in a "serious" role, in Moneyball, as well as the ones mentioned above.

When Sandler's bothered he's a better actor than Rogen, unfortunately that hasn't been for quite a while now.

Haha, sh1t! That's exactly who I was thinking of. The two lads are in nearly all of the same films. Hill is a very good actor, Seth Rogen is average. Apologies!

That's a lot crap to post just to try to not seem like a raging anti-Semite. In what way, any way, does it matter that the actors are Jewish? Why mention it all?

When Seth Rogan started off playing Seth Rogan it was funny and amusing the first few times but now when I see Seth Rogan in a film I just think - "Oh here comes Seth Rogan playing Seth Rogan again."

He has outstayed his welcome. He BADLY needs to follow Jonah Hill's lead and do what he did with Wolf of Wall Street.

I'm not sure if he has the chops though. Looks like unfunny same old same old Adam Sandler territory beckons.

So I guess you missed the news about Jobs, then, where he's cast opposite Christian Bale as the other co-founder of Apple Computers? If that doesn't get him to up his game a few notches, nothing will.
