If we're able to put out that first XI, we should win by a couple of goals I think. We've been unlucky with injuries and suspensions throughout the season and were only able to field that team, which is our strongest starting XI, for the first time a few weeks back when we beat Dundalk handily enough.

    Stupid competition.

I'm on the 8am flight out of stansted on sunday morning. Ive been like a kid at Christmas the last couple of days in work. I should probably know better by now but. . . . SUPERSAINTS!

Hopefully we'll end our heart ache with the cup. Do not want to be walking out of the Aviva after another cup final defeat.

Head says 2-2 draw(anything can happen after that)

    Head says 3-1 Pats

Lack of grandiose cup picture and fixture times in the OP have greatly upset me. 2/10.

In all honesty though I reckon you should put up Kick Off time, what channel it's gonna be on and ticket info if you could. Games like this could attract support from outside the usual LOI circles and the more the merrier.

I think I'd like to see Pats win after all the heartache but seeing Rovers miss out on another year of Europe would be hilarious so I'll be cheering on Derry

Ironically when we didn't have our strongest starting XI. You have to wonder what managers see sometimes. Dundalk didn't lose a game in ANY competition this season when Kenny picked the strongest XI available to him.

    Hoping for a Pats win.

Strangely confident heading into this atm but will probably get more and more nervous closer to Sunday. Our first XI should be fit and our form didnt drop off too much once we were out of the running for the league. While our league could have been better this year it was far better than Derrys and Derry's form recently has been ordinary. They have a good attack with Patterson, Duffy and McEleney but I think we are stronger on paper anyway however it is a cup final and anything can happen.

    3-1 Saints. COYS.

'61 will be put to rest on Sunday! Patricks offer allot more than Derry in attack. 2-0.

A lot of Ireland fans donating their season tickets to local schoolboy clubs, Bosco etc bringing a fair amount.

Not sure if its a protest of sorts?

The same fixture in 2012 had 15k in attendance. I think this one will have about 12k.

I would love to be cheering us on to another victory against Pats, but I have the gut feeling that it will be Pats year this time around.

Just got too many good players for us, and if most of them turn up on the day then I think Derry will have a big ask in front of them to compete on Sunday.

    But you just never know.

He supports the New Orleans Saints and has an affinity with teams that have Saints in their names or nicknames. Think it something like that.

lol few years ago he tweeted about New Orleans Saints and some pats fan tweeted back to him and thats how the legend of Bunk The Saint grew. He is now a full time saints fan :D

So Joe did this for him :D
I’m a New Orleans man, so I support the Saints here and after I sent a few NFL tweets a few years back a whole load of Supersaint fans in Dublin tweeted me, Now I’m an honorary Supersaint, although I’m embarrassed to say that as yet I haven’t been to a game, but I will. We chat on twitter all the time and I follow the teams results

Slatterys on Grand Canal St is Pat's fans HQ so that'll be busy. Fiver a pint with complimentary food.

Taveys sponsored Pats and many buses this season, thats my main place tomorrow not some rugby pub. I am absolutely ducking terrified now.

Yer man off the tv that supports Pats.

Totally forgot this was on today. Hopefully the neutrals also attend in numbers and give the LOI abit of credit and promotion, and that Derry bring it back to the NW.

Nice to see Michael O Neill and Martin O Neill discussing the quality of the League' players and both say they're there to have a look at future prospects.

Killian Brennan has been outstanding. So cool under pressure today. Very impressed by him.

Referee Sutton is being a picky so and so though, wrecking the monentum.

He would've smashed his shin for no good reason! Was just a tiny bit too far for him to clear it.

Danny Ventre with the agility of an elephant. He just had to stick out his leg to prevent that goal.

Get away out of that. He had about an hour to slide at it before it went near the post.

Slide for it yeah he would've got it. On his feet, like he was, it was just out of reach(could only tell from replay). Still funny though!

Anyone else think the pitch doesn't look great??

The pitch is always bad this time of year cause of the rugby, there's only been 1 game there recently enough.

    Terrible miss

The rugby is next week though!

Could've taken a touch, such was the quality of the ball!

Not sure of figure but a decent enough crowd here. Most of the lower tiers are full
