Imo, I can't honestly see the point of doing no-fap. It's nice to abstain from things, but I can't see myself doing it.

Sex is a need just like any other. In my mind, this no fap thing is like abstaining from physical exertion for a month. I don't honestly see any benefit of it.

hey guys,
do any of you find that fapping frequently shortens the time it takes for you to "arrive" or indeed that not fapping causes a buildup which then wants out very quickly when you're with the missus?

The longest i've managed would probably be about 3 weeks in the past but it tends to go in cycles, i.e the more frequently i do, the more frequently i want to!

I find it hard to "arrive" if I fap a day in advance of coitus, I find it desensitise s you and I am left going longer than the misses takes to "arrive"

Been fap-free for two weeks now. I thought it would be really difficult as I generally have a very high sex drive and would be a frequent enough fapper. But it's been far easier than I thought it would be. Do I notice any benefits? Well, I don't have more drive and energy as some people do.

However, I do feel a little better for abstaining from something that was a real time waster (I would sometimes waste 2-3 hours in a night looking at porn). So it definitely is a boost to the self esteem.

Another benefit is that my sex drive has gone way down, which is great as I was unhealthily oversexed. I always found that the more porn you look at, the more frustrated you get generally.

I've no doubt I'll probably break out soon (anything could trigger it, an attractive girl on my commute, even a raunchy ad on tv ) and that doesn't bother me; I'm not exercising any will power now, I actually couldn't be bothered with it a the moment (surprisingly) and the longer I've gone the easier it's become to stay free of it. I've joined a gym lately and generally I'm being more active so I think that's helping (way more likely to fap when I'm idle).

I don't believe in the will power aspect and if I start getting really strong urges I'm just going to give in, feck it, no point in tying myself up in knots. But I'm enjoying being fap-free for the moment.

(I've linked fapping to porn here, just because the two go hand in hand for me, as I suspect they do for most fellas. I would generally only fap to porn, the old imagination isn't as good as it used to be!)
