What are your favourite and most used Apps?

And if you had to have only one app installed on your phone for a year, which one would it be?

Also, what in your opinion is the best Irish App?

I'd go for TuneIn Radio Pro overall as it's the app I use it the most.

I rarely if ever listen to downloaded music on a phone, much prefer radio stations. There's stations dedicated to almost every genre of music and so I'd rather just listen to one of them instead. Plus Timeform radio is on it and so free Horse racing commentary as and when I need it also. Love listening to different talk radio stations when I'm on public transport and the like also so it would have to be that one for me. Can also schedule recordings which I use way more than I thought I would.

For best Irish app, I'd go for Cabbage Lite (developed by a Boardsie I think I recall?). As I pay €15 to Tesco for the unlimited calls but it only includes free web texts, knowing you'd have to then use some of the €15 for texting and having Cabbage means I can use that €15 for data Add-ons instead.

    Yourselves?

Do phone/text functions count as apps now? If so, one of them (not such a smartphone now are you?), otherwise a browser.

Not for the purposes of this thread, no - but technically I guess even the dialer is an app too.

An app I would like is one that would allow you to play a file (video or audio) to a caller when you're on the phone to them.

I would have thought by now that there would be an app for placing someone on hold even and when that's done they hear whichever audio file that you select but can't seem to find such an app.

Would pay a few euro for the app to and would imagine many would and so there's bucks to be made for someone that comes up with a decent app like that.

Tie between Dublin Bus, cineworld, and AIB. Dublin bus is super handy, even though it doesn't make the bus come faster, cineworld lets me remote book, and AIB is good as well.

Most used is just google maps and buienalarm which is awesome and should be made for Ireland. It's a rain radar for the Netherlands, shows an accurate rainfall plot, over two hours, at five minute intervals specific to your location, and an animated weather map of your location for the next two hours as well, and you can set rain alarms, either specific to where you are at the time or you can pick three set locations. It's just the best thing ever, you can leave the house that bit later/earlier to miss the shower, if it seems like it's gona be raining all evening it's handy to check when the breaks are in between so you can go to the shop or whatever you need to do. It rains so much, you might as well accept that, it just lets you work around it.

That sounds right up my street. Rain today covers Ireland but it's pretty basic. yours actually sounds useful!
